Assistant Director of Office of Residence Life at The Ohio State University Office of Residence Life, Stephanie Clemons Thompson, in a now viral Facebook post asked her followers to “find compassion” for the Buckeye terrorist. Debra Heine published the following image of Thompson’s post:

This is such an ill-advised post, at first I thought it had to be fake. I was able to confirm the authenticity of Thompson’s Facebook post by the OSU “Media and P.R.” office. Their reply confirmed Thompson’s Facebook post was real:

“This post from this individual clearly is not an official statement of the university and represents her own personal viewpoint.”

Thompson called for compassion for the terrorist even though he expressed a desire “to kill a billion infidels” before his attack. Thompson also urged followers to “think of the pain he must have been in.” Really? Thompson should have been more concerned the wounded victims. And what is with her use of Black Lives Matter hashtags.

I just can’t understand what many of the the people entrusted with providing our children a “higher education” are thinking.

According to CNN, the Ohio State University student turned terrorist responsible for Monday’s attack was inspired by terrorist propaganda from ISIS and deceased Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.

The so-called Islamic State’s media wing claims the attacker was an ISIS terrorist.

The terrorist bought knives on the day of the attack, rammed his car into a group of people on the Columbus campus and then got out charged and stabbed passersby with a knife. The terrorist was shot dead by Ohio State University Police Officer Alan Horujko, whose quick action kept more people from being injured, or worse.

Of the 11 people injured three remain hospitalized.
