Sean "Diddy" Combs is not just some rapper. He's an extremely influential hip-hop mogul with deep involvement in the industry after founding Bad Boy Records three decades ago. The swirling web of lawsuits surrounding his empire and family is not of the run-of-the-mill "one of those rappers got pulled over again" variety. This unordinary distinction was on display late last month when Diddy had two of his homes, in Los Angeles and Miami, raided by Homeland Security Investigations in what the federal agency said was a sex trafficking investigation.

The federal raids came on the heels of a lawsuit filed in February by record producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones that accused Diddy and his son, 30-year-old Justin Combs, of involvement in a 2022 shooting in a Los Angeles recording studio. Jones also accused Diddy of sexual harassment, drugging, and threats during their time working together from 2022 to 2023. The suit also alleges Combs' involvement in a "RICO enterprise" and a "sex trafficking venture" and includes multiple sexual assault allegations.

On Thursday, a new lawsuit was filed that turns sexual assault allegations toward Diddy's 25-year-old son, Christian "King" Combs. This is the latest in a string of lawsuits making similar allegations, starting with ex-girlfriend Cassandra "Cassie" Ventura, who settled her sexual abuse case last year only one day after filing it.

King is accused of sexually assaulting a woman named Grace O'Marcaigh, who worked as a crew member and a bartender on the yacht chartered by Diddy throughout the holidays in 2022.

The lawsuit alleges that in late December 2022, King pressured a then 25-year-old O'Marcaigh to drink tequila that she believes was spiked with other drugs before sexually assaulting her. The lawsuit includes a transcript of the recorded exchange, providing evidence of O'Marcaigh's demands that King stop touching her. The suit also alleges that Diddy participated in a coverup of the assault by paying off the captain, which resulted in O'Marcaigh being terminated from her employment.

In the suit, O'Marcaigh claims that a heavily intoxicated King entered a music studio on board the yacht where producer Jones (a plaintiff in his own sexual assault suit against Diddy) was instructed to be available around the clock for Diddy to work on his next album. King reportedly pressured O'Marcaigh to consume shots of tequila, which she claims that she drank out of obligation. She believed that the tequila was spiked with drugs, saying that the drinks made her feel blurry and disoriented "unusually quickly."

As the evening progressed, King allegedly became increasingly aggressive with O'Marcaigh, violently grabbing her arm as she tried to leave the situation. King allegedly groped O'Marcaigh's breasts and genitals and attempted to force her to perform oral sex in the music studio. The exchange was recorded by microphones in the studio, where Jones was supposed to "capture everything."

The lawsuit states that King continued the assault in the ship's movie theater, where O'Marcaigh was attempting to find a place to spend the night due to all rooms being occupied. Another crew member allegedly intervened, causing King to stop the assault.

Diddy is named as a co-defendant in the case, alleging that he "had full control of the staff and premises" during this time and is responsible for creating an environment where the assault was not only tolerated but encouraged. Diddy is also accused of paying to cover up the alleged crime afterward. The lawsuit claims that Diddy paid a large amount of money to the yacht's captain to cover up the sexual assault on the same day that it is alleged to have occurred.

O'Marcaigh claims that the captain did not conduct a meaningful investigation or take any action regarding the assault. As a result, O'Marcaigh alleges that she was eventually fired in retaliation for reporting the attack. The lawsuit states that since the incident in 2022, she has suffered severe emotional trauma and has been unable to find work in the music industry, where she had planned to build a career.

The lawsuit seeks damages, which will be determined at trial if the case proceeds to that stage. Combs and his attorneys have denied all of the lawsuits' allegations.
