Being Nice Is Not Being Good

What I find fascinating about the events going on in Europe right now, with the riots in France and Italy, and the complete cultural collapse happening in the UK, is that when you compare it to other countries that shut down or severely restrict migration, and how peaceful, clean, and even fun those countries are, the pro-immigration countries start to look very, very stupid.

As I wrote on Tuesday, the ongoing riots in various European countries are being sold by the legacy media as "student riots" or "peaceful protests," complete with violence, burning buildings, and property destruction over the quality of life in the region. True to form, the legacy media is lying, and the rioters are more than happy to tell you the truth.

They're from Islamic-heavy countries, and they're here to conquer you, and seeing as how these Western countries aren't willing to summon a modern-day version of the Templars and do the hard work that needs to be done, the murders, rapes, and destruction will continue to the sound of applause from aristocrats, ideological politicians, and brainwashed leftist women who will continue to defend these animals even after being raped.

I wish I were being hyperbolic.

It's a deep kind of evil that begets a deep kind of evil that is astonishing to me, but it continues unabated under the idea that we shouldn't deny help to these "migrants" and should not turn them away, lest they have to go back to these countries that are clearly hellholes, but are also home to just the best people ever. Never mind the fact that most of these migrants are fighting-age men. They need our help!

Not helping them wouldn't be very nice. If you were a moral person, you'd let them in. You'd allow them to live in places on your tax dollars. You'd turn a blind eye to their crimes. You'd forgive them for raping your daughter and stabbing your son. It's not their fault, after all. It's just a misunderstanding due to cultural differences. Be welcoming and be nice. You don't want people to think you're intolerant and bigoted... do you?

This is the lecture they give you as they ready the handcuffs to take you in for disagreeing.

Again, I wish I were being hyperbolic.

Now, while all this chaos is going on, check out what these ideologues who are submitting their own people to the horrors of the third world are calling intolerant and awful.

Here's Polish MEP Dominik Tarczyński telling these people who are destroying other countries not to even try entering Poland, lest they be shot and killed.

Meanwhile, in Poland.

The stats this person gives in the post are accurate. Poland's safety ranking is incredibly high, with a low homicide rate and a thriving culture. Its global peace ranking is higher than most other European countries.

And it's all because Poland made it clear to people who want to destroy it that even attempting to cross the border will result in your body doubling its weight in lead. It's not a nice thing to say. Threatening someone with death ranks pretty high on the "that's a pretty harsh thing to suggest" list, but it's kept people safe. Women can go out at night safely. People are able to live and enjoy their lives. Their children aren't being brainwashed or threatened by foreigners who hate them.

The Poles live in peace and confidence, as any Western country should.

Let me put it this way.

I have a 3-year-old son. I love him very much, but there are often times when he wants to make a bad decision that will cause him real harm both in the immediate and/or long-term way. I can politely suggest and reason with him as much as I want, but due to his natural ignorance and self-focused brain, he doesn't understand why I'm denying him what he wants. He will scream, cry, throw tantrums, and say things like "mean dada" or say the 3-year-old equivalent of "I'm going to do it anyway."

Now, would I be a good father if I continued being nice and using my soft daddy voice? Would I be a good father if I surrendered to his tantrums and allowed him to have what he wants because it's nice to be accommodating? Should my chief goal be to make him happy?

No, I'm his father. At that point, it's time to harden my voice. I will physically restrain him if I have to. It's time to lay down consequences to make it clear that there's a line, and that crossing that line is a really bad idea. Sure, it's going to put his tantrum into overdrive, but it's for his own good, and he'll calm down after a while. As he gets older and wiser, I can explain why I made the decision I did and why he needed to be stopped.

But I can't explain that to a dead child. My intervention is necessary first. The explaining can come later.

People all over the Western world need to stop being nice and start doing what's necessary to stop the madness. They need to stop worrying about being accused of social sins that they aren't even guilty of anyway. Because the option, at least on this subject, is to be nice and die, or be real and thrive.
