A good rule of thumb about leftist advocacy groups is that they aren't actually ever advocating for the group they claim to represent. They are, first and foremost, a leftist organization concerned about advancing leftism. If their group suddenly becomes a complication to the leftist agenda, you'll find out how loved they actually are.

If you want to see what I'm talking about when it comes to the LGBTQ+ activist groups, then look no further than a recent event that happened in Berlin, Germany. During a Pride Parade being put on by the Christopher Street Day (CSD) Berlin chapter, a man drove a van into the parade, killing one and injuring 12. If you were to take it from the New York Times headline about it, the car plowed into the crowd by itself.
You wouldn't be blamed if you guessed cars have become sentient and do not like gay people.
However, as others had to point out, the driver of the car was named Abdul B., and Abdul has a long criminal record and had associations with radical Islam. As shocking as it is to hear that a radical theocratic Middle Eastern ideology hates homosexuality, what's just as shocking is the response to it by the CSD Berlin chapter.
We will not get involved with any speculation. We will wait for the result of the police investigation. Our basic approach has not changed. We reject all forms of violence. Ideologies, be they religious or other extremists, are trying to suppress people. We do not want this deed to be instrumentalized for political ends. We don't want any groups to be placed under suspicion for this. People are trying to divide our society and set some people against others. As the CSD in Berlin, we will not allow this.

What you just heard was a dodge so massive that it would make the pros in the National Dodgeball League take notes.
They don't want to say it, because in terms of leftist identity hierarchies, Islamic immigrants rank higher than anyone in the LGBTQ+ community. They are sacred cows that cannot be criticized or blamed for anything. They are the ultimate victim, and continue to be the ultimate victim, even while they're flooring it right into your parade.
The spokesperson said they don't want this incident to be used for political ends, but the CSD uses attacks against the LGBTQ+ community for political ends all the time. Any time there's an attack on one of them, it's automatically chalked up as right-wing extremism, including when the attacker is a Syrian man with clear ties to radical Islamic ideologies.
While I was writing this, I wanted to show you something I found during my research. A video popped up from the CSD Pride event after the attack had happened. It features German singer-songwriter Nyya, saying she hoped the attacker was a Christian white person.

Are white Christians actively trying to kill LGBTQ+ people? No, but white Christians are public enemy number one when it comes to leftist politicians. Therefore, they need them to be the bad guy, and hatred should be expressed for them at any given moment to remind everyone who the enemy is... and distract them from the real one.
If the CSD actually cared about the community they supposedly support, they'd immediately condemn Islam, the violence it causes, and the hate it spreads, but the CSD doesn't actually care about anything but helping out leftist politicians and raking in that sweet activist cash. So the hate against the people not physically attacking them continues.
And it will continue to happen until either the Christians have been dealt with, or all the LGBTQ+ people are dead thanks to Islamic attacks.
