I've been covering the ever-increasing gulf between men and the Democrat Party for some time.
It can be easily deduced that part of the reason Democrats lost so soundly in 2024 was because they had driven a huge chunk of the male population away, and their attempts at attracting us back were so ridiculous as to be insulting.
Remember white dudes for Harris? A bunch of men sitting around talking about their feelings? Releasing cringy ads that insulted men while trying to relate to us? It's a total mystery why it never worked to get us to pull the lever for Kamala Harris.
Read: The Democrats Clearly Don't Get Men
Tim Walz confessed one of the reasons he was brought on as Kamala's VP was to create "permission structure" for men, something that proved to me that the Democrats' hatred of men was so deep that they'd completely forgotten how men think and operate. As I wrote of the confession then:
Men bond through competition, action, and struggle. Affirmation and reassurance is nice, but it's not nearly as valuable to the male of the species as respect. You can hate a man all day, but his main concern is your respect for him. Your feelings toward him are a tertiary concern.
Men's social bonding looks odd on paper. We can disagree to the point of coming to blows, insult one another, demean one another in awful ways... then walk away being best friends with a deeper bond than we had before. We actually thrive on individual dissent and competing to make our perspective the dominant one. This is far more valuable to us than mutual agreement and reassurance. Not that men don't seek reassurance and validation on things from their peers from time to time, but you won't find this being the foundation of their social framework.
Now, the Democrats are continuing their quest to attract men to the Democrat Party through something called "Speaking With American Men" or SAM... no, I didn't get the acronym wrong. For some reason, the Democrats are leaving out the "W" so it can sound like a man's name. Of course, I've met more girls named Sam (shortened version of Samantha) than boys, and that's just thematic of this entire effort.
Hilariously, Democrats are spending $20 million on this effort, and true to form, they've put the least qualified person in charge of leading the effort.
Remember Olivia Julianna?
No?
Well, this is her. This is who is going to win over men to the Democrat Party.

A few things to note here.
For one, I think it's pretty telling that Democrats are trying to "speak with" men. They aren't trying to do that at all. They're trying to talk at men, which has been a major point of contention between men and the left for some time.
The attitude on the left in regard to men has always been "sit down, shut up, and sit by passively," and doing so as they pointed at men and blamed them for everything wrong under the sun. They accused us of upholding and taking advantage of a patriarchy that oppressed women. They accused us of being rapists in waiting, and sat back while feminists tweeted hashtags like "#killallmen." They encouraged institutions to push away qualified men in order to hire less qualified women, strictly because they were women, and we were told we were sexist if we spoke up about it.
The left's hatred of men has been very apparent for well over a decade now, and only now that our absence is costing them elections do they want to pretend to be friendly with us? They send someone we couldn't possibly relate to in hopes it will attract us?
Are they stupid?
Don't answer that.
Democrats plan to try gaslighting men back into supporting them, but they're going to fail miserably, because they don't even know how to talk to us. As I said in the block quote above, the one thing Democrats refuse to speak to us with is the one thing that truly touches us, and that's respect.
Men thrive on respect. It's the core social currency with us. Disrespect is entirely insulting to us from strangers, and devastating when it comes from people close to us.
And wouldn't you know it? Respect is the one thing Democrats have been refusing to give men for years and years now. It's all but advocated we be led off into work camps.
And even if they try to come at us in superficial ways like Julianna's "I love frat boys" line, it still cannot show us the necessary respect. If it did, it would destroy its entire platform with women. Its years of dividing women from men, seducing women with Marxist feminism, and convincing them that gender roles aren't real, would evaporate in a matter of months.
They cannot do it.
Meanwhile, the GOP speaks to men with all due respect and looks at masculinity, not as a problem that needs to be solved, but as a boon that society benefits from. The right is real with men. How does the left think it's going to overcome that by sending a fat "queer" our way?
If the Democrats want to attract men, they have to stop being the Democrats.
