The Golden Age of America Starts Now

Wow. It's hard to believe we're here after all this.

I would say these last four years have been harrowing, but this didn't start when Joe Biden took office. I wouldn't even say it started when Trump won in 2016. This began, in my opinion, with a Tea Party.

The Tea Party was, in my opinion, indicative of the desire for a cultural shift that many people couldn't quite put their finger on. New blood was absolutely necessary for Washington, that much we knew, but even at the time, there was something missing.

We needed a new way, and that new way would come into focus for many under the Obama administration. As Barack Obama continued to degrade everything about America, and not just its economy, but its name, it's purpose, and its character, we watched as the Republican Party continued to act like an enabling body with no desire or ability to stop it all.

Then Trump arrived on the scene. He was a disruptor, he wasn't polite, he hardly had any of the qualities that would traditionally make for a valid conservative choice, and yet the right fell in love with him. Not everyone, mind you, and the wailing and gnashing of teeth over the loss of the old way of doing things is still heard to this day, but it was clear that the change we desired had taken form in the unlikely host of "The Apprentice."

It was then that the culture war truly began in earnest. The entirety of the leftist machine went into action in order to paint Trump as an evil man who could do no right. News organizations and Hollywood worked tirelessly to convince everyone that Trump was the end of the American dream. There was no redeeming quality to him, and that all who supported him were either stupid, evil, or both.

But it was clear, even then, that this wasn't righteous indignation, it was fear. Trump was indeed an end, but not to the American dream. He was a very real threat to the elitist power structure, and he had to be stopped at all costs. Round the clock coverage, every sentence over-analyzed, every action overblown. Hollywood made allegories galore as celebrities prattled on relentlessly about how awful he was.

Then there were the marches. The Women's March, Black Lives Matter, the March for Our Lives, all of them spectacles to give the media red meat and weight to what they were saying about how awful he was. In Washington, they dragged his name through the dirt, investigated him relentlessly, and then impeached him.

Then in 2020, it seemed clear Trump was going to win again... and then he didn't. There are still unanswered questions about what happened in that election that allowed Biden to win. We still don't know the answers to too many of them, but these questions would later cause America to buckle down and make sure there weren't nearly as many questions in the next election.

A fact that would come into play four years later.

If Obama taught the right what kind of leadership we actually needed in Washington, Biden taught the rest of the country.

Open weaponizations of the justice department, degeneracy run amok in government buildings, corrupt officials left and right, vaccine mandates, soft on crime policies, open borders, energy dependence, and an unlimited flow of cash to a foreign country when it was clear that we needed it here in America. This became so clear when parts of North Carolina were destroyed by Hurricane Helene, and the federal government had no more resources for the American people, despite it still sending billions of Ukraine.

Our economy was destroyed, the American people were being stepped on by the elite who openly didn't care.

Joe Biden may very well be the worst president in all of American history, but it was a lesson that taught the American people that there truly was an issue in Washington that needed to be fixed, and in order to fix it, we needed the man that threatened them the most back.

They saw we saw that, and that's why the attacks against Trump persisted and elevated, convicted him of felonies, raiding his home, and trying to do all they could to keep him out of office. It all failed.

So they tried to kill him.

I'm not going to sit here and spout conspiracy theories about who may or may not have been involved, but I do know that this was the result of fearmongering and targeted hate at Donald Trump. Judging by the reaction of many on the left, they truly wanted him dead, but God had other plans.

So did Americans. Some truly incredible things happened. The hold on the narrative was broken by a guy who likes to launch rockets and make electric cars. After Elon Musk bought Twitter and turned it into X, the entire news landscape changed. No longer did the media have a hold on the hearts and minds of America, America became the media, and the entire leftist hold on the news fell apart almost overnight.

Thanks to Jen Van Laar, the RNC ousted the lukewarm Republicans running the show and put real warriors in place that saw to it that what happened in 2020 could be replicated. The GOP fought against itself to become a true fighting force and, for the most part, succeeded. It was no longer the reactionary party, but the party that forced Democrats on the back foot.

And then in November, it happened.

We won. After all the fighting we've done, all that we've endured, all the sacrifices we made, we did it. On Monday, Trump was sworn in as president, and the real quest to make America great again can start. We now have a President in Trump who isn't just focused on his mission, he now has the experience and the know-how to do it better.

He's learned from his previous mistakes, and the ignorance he had about the state of D.C. when he first got there is now replaced with a painfully won wisdom and the will of the American people.

America's golden age can now commence. We can right the wrongs that were thrust upon us. We still have a lot of work ahead of us, but at least we can now get to work.

God bless America.
