God works in mysterious ways.
Donald Trump was a superb president, though not a perfect one. He had a lot of issues, and one of them was his own inexperience and lack of understanding about just how deep the rabbit hole went.
And how could he?
Washington, D.C., is a place of insane complication. Politics is a confusing game as it is, but when you start adding layers of bureaucracy and people who are really good at talking out of both sides of their mouth, even the most stalwart defender of the people can be misled. Many people are elected and go there with the best of intentions, only to fall victim to the swamp in some way, shape, or form.
We could easily say that Trump was one of those people. He wasn't exactly popular there, and both Democrats and Republicans worked hand in hand to trip him up at every turn. It's a long, proud tradition in D.C., as you likely know, and one that spread through the elite like wildfire.
This led to the 2020 election, where it's pretty clear, at this point, that some very shady things happened that helped Joe Biden become president, and then, the subsequent societal meltdown happened. The government proceeded to abuse the people in almost every conceivable way, and as they did, they were also attacking Trump.
It was an odd thing to do. They had defeated the man, yet they acted as if he was still a massive threat. Why would someone feel the need to be so afraid of someone after having beaten him?
They attacked him over and over again, through lawfare, through his business, and then, at one point, they attempted to take his life.
But all of this only made Trump more popular than ever. His star only rose.
One has to wonder what would have happened if they had just ignored him from then on. It's likely Trump would have actually faded away, and the GOP would have moved on. The thing is, the constant reinforcement of hate against Trump, mixed with the abuse of the people, caused him to stay so relevant that he became the symbol of the opposition, not just for Republicans, but for anyone experiencing the Democrat's corruption and incompetence.
The left effectively kept Trump in the picture, giving people a leader without even meaning to. As time went on, their enthusiasm for his leadership only grew and grew, all the way to the point where he became a cultural phenomenon that bled out into other countries.
Then the election happened, the Democrats doubled down on a bad candidate... twice, and Trump was elected with the popular vote, the House, and the Senate.
But more important than anything else, Trump has a score to settle. The deep state, and how far it's willing to go, exposed itself to him. Moreover, it exposed itself to the people. The naked corruption is sitting on a throne that it doesn't deserve, and now Trump, the man who has every reason to collapse the system that tried to literally kill him, has the backing of the people to do it.
Once Trump is sworn in, he will literally be the most powerful man in the history of the world. Roman emperors won't have access to the kind of power Trump has. He will, if all goes correctly, have an army of people alongside him just as excited as he is to take down the corrupt.
I think it's pretty funny, when you stop to ponder it.
The left created Trump as he is. They did everything they could to stop him, and it was everything they did that only made him more powerful.
What's great, however, is that the greatest punishment he could think of for these people wasn't to do to them what they did to them; it was to severely reduce and hamper the system they love and utilize to make themselves rich and powerful. He's punishing them by destroying their corrupted seedbed, and making them watch as he destroys a lot of the bureaucracy they hold dear.
It's a fun thought I had. Our greatest enemy, and by "our," I mean Americans, delivered the answer to our problems economically, socially, and federally.
