The Vote Against the SAVE Act Leaves Little Doubt That Democrats Are Setting the Stage to Cheat

Back in 2017, Nancy Pelosi stood in front of the press at one of her weekly press conferences and proceeded to call illegal immigrants her "constituency." Specifically, she was referring to people who illegally migrate to America to have their children in the States, creating a group called "Dreamers," or people born in America to illegal parents.

As Pelosi said then, illegal immigrants doing this was a "great thing."

It was a moment that raised quite a few eyebrows, and now, that comment from Pelosi can be seen as an invitation to illegal immigrants to come to the States, and boy, did they. Not just families, either. The number of military-aged males that have shown up here is unforgivable.

For those who need a refresher, 7.2 million illegals have entered the country since Biden took office, and that's a conservative estimate, according to Fox News. It could be as large as 10 million.

To their credit, Republicans haven't been idle. They passed the SAVE Act, a bill that would make voting a privilege for American citizens only. It passed in the House but with only five Democrats voting with Republicans. The rest voted against it using the flimsiest logic they could:

The U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a proof-of-citizenship requirement for voter registration, a proposal Republicans have prioritized as an election-year talking point even as research shows noncitizens illegally registering and casting ballots in federal elections is exceptionally rare.

The legislation, approved largely along partisan lines but with five Democrats voting in favor, is unlikely to advance through the Democratic-led Senate. The Biden administration also says it’s strongly opposed because there are already safeguards to enforce the law against noncitizen voting, but stopped short of saying it would veto the measure if it came to his desk.

In short, Democrats said we don't need it because there are safeguards to prevent it from happening anyway.

The safeguard is checking a box before filling out a ballot, which is like setting up a perimeter of toilet paper around a chicken coop to keep the foxes out.

This is abject nonsense, and few people are buying the reasoning Democrats are throwing up in order to excuse their vote. Texas Republican Chip Roy said it plainly.

“They’re telling the American people very plainly and clearly, it is their preference that noncitizens vote in American elections,” Roy said. “They’re destroying our borders. They’re allowing people to flood into our country. Millions of people being released in the United States … and now, all we simply want to do is ensure the integrity of American elections.”

The excuses from Democrats aren't the truth. The truth is what Pelosi said in 2017. They want these illegals as constituents. They want them to have voting power.

Democrats are not in a good position, but the underhanded way they can still find some path to victory is by making it possible for non-citizens to vote. I can't find any other reason to resist a no-brainer of a vote.

It should say a lot that the Democrats can't win legitimately due to no one wanting to vote for them based on their radicalism and their incompetence, so the move is to cheat. Our elections are not secure, and any politician or group who wants it that way would only want it that way because it would benefit them to take advantage of it.

There is no other reason.

All evidence points to the fact that Democrats are gearing up to cheat.
