Planned Parenthood first began providing hormone treatments for transgender patients in 2005, and since then 41 out of 49 regional branches have provided transgender services as of 2022. However, in just the last three years, Planned Parenthood has become dramatically more involved in the gender hormone industry.

Between 2020 and 2022, the number of transgender services performed and/or visits related to transgender treatments at Planned Parenthood clinics increased by roughly 125%, according to a Daily Caller News Foundation review of available data. Regional branches that made their data available collectively saw 17,036 visits in 2020 compared to 38,337 in 2022, a staggering increase in such a short period of time.

This seems to be Planned Parenthood's new avenue and like its other venture, it's purely aimed at destroying the lives of children. As I reported back in 2021, a Planned Parenthood employee has been pushing hormones on young teenagers. 

The employee noted that girls would come in, sometimes with parents and sometimes with groups of girlfriends as if they were getting a new trendy outfit together: 

The “health assistant” told Shrier that each day, teen girls would come to the clinic, sometimes with a parent or with groups of girlfriends all claiming that they have the trendy new mental illness of “gender dysphoria.”

“I think they were telling what they perceived to be their authentic history to them at the time. Like, I was a 13-year-old girl, you know. Everything is very dire, everything needs to be remedied immediately,” she said.

The woman was presented with a script to read to the kids, but it didn’t put too much emphasis on the patient’s history of evaluation.

“The questions that we asked were like, very closed-ended…It would be, ‘you know, at what age did this start’? Boom — that is it. ‘What kinds of dysphoria do you feel’? Boom — that’s it, you know? ‘What do you want out of your transition’? ‘Do you want top surgery?’ ‘Do you want bottom surgery’?”

The employee noticed that Planned Parenthood often preyed on girls who suffered from depression or anxiety. She would notice signs of self-harm on some of the girls such as cutting. 

It would appear that Planned Parenthood is dead set on causing some form of harm to our nation's youth in any form it can. With the door shut on some of their activities in various states, it looks like they're going in hard on attempting to further the damaging trend surrounding the political mind disease of transgenderism and gender fluidity. 

Perhaps, once again, lawmakers in various states should look deeply into Planned Parenthood's activities and how easy they make it for young people to ruin their lives forever. 

Moreover, despite Planned Parenthood's marked decline in abortions, the federal government is looking to increase the amount of taxpayer dollars that flow their way. The organization is now performing 40 percent of all abortions in the United States, which is possibly why Democrats are so interested in shoveling money its way. 

Though abortions still remain a large part of what Planned Parenthood does, it arguably serves a greater purpose for the left by dragging in the young and convincing them they're part of a group that typically supports the left without question. Not only is this disgusting on political grounds, it's disgusting on moral grounds as well, as it's ruining the lives of teens and young adults for the Democrat Party's benefit.
