France Isn't Just Cracking Down on Pro-Hamas Protests, It's Fighting for Its Existence

You've got to hand it to France. When the people there have had enough, they don't do things by half-measures. They don't hesitate to make their voices heard in the streets.

As RedState covered on Thursday, France witnessed what many other cities did. Pro-Palestinian groups got together and cheered on the destruction of Israel through Hamas. Needless to say, tensions are high and for two good reasons.

Firstly, the mass amount of immigration coming into Europe has made parts of almost every European country dangerous. France, in particular, has "no-go zones" where people, especially women, are encouraged not to tread due to the dangers the immigrants pose to them.

Many of these immigrants come from Islamic countries, which means that many of them aren't fans of Israel. It should be no surprise that when Hamas began its attacks on Israel, many people all over the world came out to celebrate, and these demonstrations weren't exactly friendly. Many of them encouraged violence against Jewish people.

As you saw in RedState's coverage, this kind of hatred wasn't being allowed to thrive in France. Pro-Palestinian protesters soon found themselves face to face with police who proceeded to scatter the protesters before they could get any funny ideas.

I say "before they could get any funny ideas" because I think the French have come to terms with a basic fact about what this mass immigration is all about. This is about conquering and shaping Western culture into something completely different.

It's a domino effect that starts small and gets progressively larger in scale. First, it's the excuse that they're refugees, and then these refugees push their values and demands on the populace. Unable to deal with the sheer weight of the immigrant population's behavior, the country or city cedes areas of its own territory to these groups, effectively allowing other countries to establish enclaves.

This was put very well in a 2019 article by Abraham Miller in The Spectator who highlighted how this has worked on American soil so far:

Once victorious an interest group does not go away; it escalates its demands.

The civil rights movement started out with demands for basic human dignity. Once those were met, it legitimately demanded equality of opportunity, and once that was achieved, it demanded preferential treatment where equality of opportunity was redefined, in Orwellian fashion, as equality of result.

Flush with success, it now demands reparations where those who never were enslaved will receive compensation from those who never owned slaves, all in the name of virtue and justice.

By nature, humans are tribal. Tribalism is the easiest way to organize people and mobilize them politically.

Societal change is inevitable and ideas are going to be introduced from outside countries that become popular and mix to create something new. This is a natural part of human history and largely, few have any actual problem with this.

But this becomes a problem when the cultures aren't mixing naturally over the course of time, but through forced and fast displacement that causes cultural and political upheaval. This usually results in violence and economic destruction. This causes cultures not to meld but to create divides that eventually come into a conflict where few win and everyone loses.

France seems to have come to terms with what's happening and has begun taking action against radical and violent elements within its country. If they don't, a very nasty scenario can play out.

First, it begins with pro-Palestinian protests that cheer on a terrorist organization brutally murdering the people of Israel. Then that could lead to organized groups within France who get together and become an interest group with their own demands regarding the society it now lives in. In the case of Islam, these demands could create an upheaval within European society as the two just do not mix well. These refusals from Europeans could lead to violence from the followers of Islam.

This isn't a prediction, it's already happening in various ways. Firstly, Europe's homicide rate has risen with direct connections to the flood of immigrants, a large chunk of which are illegal aliens.

In France itself, a Jewish teacher was stabbed to death by a man shouting "Allahu akbar."

France wasn't just trying to keep a protest in check, it's trying to stop the advancement of a much larger plan. This is why the French Minister of Justice declared that those who support Hamas or Islamic Jihad will be sentenced to five years in prison and deportation for immigrant offenders.

France is going to be pointed to as racist and xenophobic for this, but don't believe the accusations. This is necessary to keep peace and stability, and it's a lesson that all of Europe should adopt, and for America to pay close attention to.
