Christians Need to Start Raising Hell on 'Churches'

National Audubon Society video: "Birds Tell Us: The Song of the Meadowlark"

I've been seeing events happening in what are being called "churches" that involve preachers and pastors celebrating or defending LGBT lifestyles, even going so far as to invite drag queens in full costume to give sermons.

These sermons are often accusatory in nature, oftentimes labeling the church and its congregation as bigots, racists, or homophobes. One drag queen even said the very church he was preaching at was guilty of white supremacy before outwardly noting that the congregation was pretty white as well.

As I wrote on this subject previously, ignoring this problem isn't going to make it go away. The infection is spreading.

As Alex Parker reported on Friday, drag queens were lined up in front of a "church" and led an affirmation vow revolving around submitting to the idea that drag queens are just the most wonderful people ever and that the congregation will destroy anything that says otherwise.

The vow went like this:

"We commit ourselves to be people of faith who stand for justice, who proclaim love, and who defend the rights of all people. We recognize that all people are made in the loving image of God -- no matter who they are, how they dress and express themselves, or who they love."

"Drag queens are often targets of hate and violence, but we know that they are powerful and resilient people who show us what it means to be truly authentic and expressive."

"We embrace radical inclusivity and work to dismantle systems of oppression. We will fight against all forms of hate, prejudice and intolerance, and work to build a world that affirms and celebrates every person's unique identity and gifts."

A few things. Firstly, while God has commanded his children to love all and hate sin, homosexuality is a sin. Leviticus 18:22 expressly calls homosexuality an "abomination." Just to make sure the message got across, this is repeated again in Leviticus 20:13 which states "If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

While times have changed and we're no longer putting homosexuals to death, what hasn't changed is that homosexuality is still a sin.

Moreover, drag queens are not the constant target of hate and violence. As I've covered previously, transgender people are some of the least murdered people in the nation. In fact, the group posing the most danger to transgender people is transgender people.

It's the final part of the vow that truly got my attention, and it's the whole purpose behind the LGBT infiltration of the church. This isn't about Christian acceptance, this is about Christian termination.

This is the LGBT activist community infiltrating, corrupting, and destroying the Christian community from within. They're putting forth the idea that America, the body of Christ, and the children within it are guilty of some original sin that oppresses groups and that these oppressive systems must be destroyed.

The "oppressive system" they're speaking of is the word of God. That's what they're trying to corrupt the Christian Church into turning its back on, Christ and His teachings.

And I want to reiterate something. While you are your church might be safe, others are not. These concepts and opinions are weaseling their way into every corner that they can, and that includes the children within the Church. Last year, I reported on this very thing and gave a great example as you see a pastor attempting to normalize the concept of drag queens to children during a service.

This is the normalization of sin and self-destruction within the church itself.

Before you begin saying "These aren't churches," and dismissing all of this, I'll say you are correct but they once were churches and there are plenty of people out there who don't know any better about the change. They may be led to the church and get the wrong idea about who Christ is and what He stands for.

Institutions can be corrupted, and while we like to think that the Church is impervious, we have to understand that it's run by humans, and they are not infallible. They're subject to weakness, misguidance, and intimidation.

Christians have to start speaking out against these things loudly. They cannot stand by and merely complain, they must take action within their own churches to make sure that they're safeguarded against the corruption of political forces attempting to silence the word of God.

Rest assured, they're not going to stop at Churches they think are safe havens. There's is an agenda of conquest. The acceptance they want is you on your knees worshiping them, not God.

Fight back.
