The Canadian Convoy Has Stolen the Hearts of the People and the Media Is Not Taking It Well

The media cannot stand the fact that the narrative about the Canadian trucker convoy protest has gotten away from them and you can see how they feel about it by taking a look at how MSNBC is reacting.

The trucker convoy protest has been making its way through Canada’s capital city of Ottawa and has become the largest in history spanning an astounding 45 miles. At the center of the protest is the message that Canadians are rejecting the government vaccine, mask, and lockdown mandates, and the desire to be treated as free westerners, not subjects of a single man and his leftist whims. Canadians of all stripes showed up to show their support for the convoy over the weekend en masse.

The media was content to never speak of the convoy — unless it was to demonize it — as it was proof-positive that the people are not with them, the politicians they serve, or the ideology they support, despite all their claims to the contrary. The issue was that this gathering over the weekend around the truckers was so large that they had to acknowledge it.

Acknowledge it they did, but you could tell they weren’t happy about it, and consistently attempted to make them out to be the villains.

Morning Joe hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski spent a segment of their program bashing the convoy and the accompanying rally. Brzezinski, arms folded and head shaking, described how the convoy escalated in reports of vandalism and severe criminal behavior including “the desecration of national monuments.”

She also took to Twitter to highlight a tweet claiming that the protesters had reportedly demanded free soup from a soup kitchen, and the kitchen gave in to prevent conflict.

“So these anti-vaxxers actually took food from the mouths of the homeless?” asked Scarborough.

Scarborough then made fun of the rally-goers, labeling them as hypocrites for protesting the vaccines mandates while being vaccinated, then fired off the idea that these people have some sort of religious belief in their cause.

“This. Is. A. Cult,” Scarborough finished.

Weird. You would think the people who have near-religious obedience to the words and decisions of Dr. Anthony Fauci, to the point where prayer candles are actually being purchased, would be considered the cult. This goes especially applies to the leftists (the Scarboroughs included) that continue to push for the vaccine, mask, and lockdown mandates, despite the fact that each of them has been proven to be ineffective in stopping a virus that is becoming increasingly less dangerous with each variant.

What you’re seeing from the Morning Joe hosts is desperation and anger over having lost control of the narrative. They have nothing to really throw at it except unsubstantiated claims about a soup kitchen being pressured by convoy members to hand over soup. Perhaps there were demands and soup was handed over, but the media hasn’t seemed interested in getting details about who is making the demands, which is a red flag already.

If anyone needed an example of how the media is incredibly biased and leans far to the left, here it is. Your daily dose of nonsense served up as “reporting” for the people.
