Once again, CNN host Chris “Fredo” Cuomo wants you to be terrified of something and, once again, he’s a giant hypocrite for spreading that fear.

During the intro to an episode of Cuomo Prime Time, the CNN host warned his viewers that with the new CDC guidelines comes danger in the form of the unvaccinated not wearing their masks around in public. They’ll just be walking around, unvaccinated, unmasked, and a threat to everyone!

“How would you ever know if the person is vaccinated?” Cuomo asked his viewers.

He called out specific stores that are no longer requiring people to wear masks in their stores such as Costco, Walmart, and Trader Joe’s who also won’t be requiring proof of vaccination.

The horror!

He’s right! People could just be walking around unvaccinated and spread the virus unaware they’re fully infected. Irresponsible, uncaring people.

People like Chris Cuomo…only Cuomo actually knew he had the virus. In fact, he made a big show of having the virus by doing his program from his basement and letting everyone know that he was suffering just the worst symptoms. He even chipped a tooth from the shivering!

Only it must not have been too bad, because it wasn’t too long into his quarantine that we learned he wasn’t quarantining at all. As the story goes, Cuomo decided to take a trip with his family to his property in East Hampton where he encountered a man on a bicycle who told him off for being outside of his basement room. The two had a verbal altercation and the cyclist filed a police complaint against the CNN host as a result.

It wasn’t long after that story was released that Cuomo put on a show of him coming out of his basement for the first time in forever. His family was even pretending to not want to go near him just in case.

What a performance. Bravo.

It’s clear his family was around him while they were infected, but did they quarantine themselves? Who did they interact with? Where did they go? Clearly, they were leaving the home.

I think it’s pretty easy to see the hypocrisy here. Cuomo wants you to be afraid of unmasked people because they might be unvaccinated. He, however, may come and go as he pleases. He’s a Cuomo after all, you ignorant peasant. It’s not his place to obey the rules that you have to or feel the fears that you’re supposed to. Just do what he tells you, or at the very least, feel stupid about something when he tells you to, like not wearing a mask.

The truth is, you do need to be wary of people like Chris Cuomo, just not for the reasons he says.
