Earlier, Streiff wrote on how the Democrats are planning to put together a “9/11-style” commission in an effort to once again drag President Donald Trump through the dirt in hopes that when he comes out the other side there will be nothing but an unelectable, nationally hated mess.

Streiff quotes NBC News, which reported that the commission’s purpose is essentially to find out where the Trump administration screwed the pooch in its response against the global pandemic that was created by China, a country that Democrats and the leftist media have gotten into the habit of defending:
The review would focus on lessons learned about the government’s preparedness and what the administration could have handled better, they said, adding that the goal would be to come up with a better plan to handle a pandemic in the future.
A wholesale examination of the administration’s response could gain traction with the passing of a gruesome milestone Tuesday, when the number of deaths in the U.S. from the coronavirus surpassed the number of people who were killed on 9/11.
The quote features a very interesting paragraph that got my attention about how this commission is a thing that is set to happen in the future after the pandemic has abated:
But the formation of any commission, or possible congressional investigations, wouldn’t happen until after the country is through the crisis, the people familiar with the discussions said. Some lawmakers have suggested putting off any investigation until after November’s presidential election, they said.
As Streiff noted, the chances of this commission being formed are slim. There has to be bipartisan agreement on it, which includes the Senate and the Trump administration. Seeing as how this is going to be put together by Rep. Adam Schiff, the same man who wasted the nation’s time and money wheeling out witnesses during the impeachment hearings that gave us absolutely nothing in terms of wrongdoing by Trump, it’s unlikely that either of these bodies will trust the commission to be fair.
That said, I’d like to point out something else.
Trump is clearly chomping at the bit to get our economy back on track and for obvious reasons. For one, he wants the American people to not fall into poverty, he wants Americans prosperous, and our futures to be secured. Secondly, the economy is his biggest selling point. It’s clear that Trump will be judged by his ability to get our economy back on track after this pandemic has put the global economy into freefall, and as such, he wants to put his best foot forward before 2020.
Both of these are absolute benefits to America as Trump is clearly wanting us to be a prosperous nation and giving us reason to keep him in office means that he’s succeeding in doing so.
Meanwhile, Democrats don’t seem concerned about our prosperity. What they care about is finding new ways to hurt Trump. Even as we’re currently cheek-deep in this virus, Democrats are putting their time into figuring out how they can come at Orange Man.
Surprised? You shouldn’t be. This is the same party that recently halted a bipartisan bill that was supposed to get financial support to the American people because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wanted to throw in some last-minute demands such as forcing diversity on corporate boards and inserting aspects of the Green New Deal.
I write a lot about how the Democrats aren’t really focused on you, but themselves, and of all the ways that I’ve tried to drive this point home, this may be one of the top ones. We’re a nation suffering a pandemic while our country is in economic freefall and all the Democrats want to do is screw Trump.
Vote accordingly.
