The World Health Organization is supposed to be a neutral organization that’s primarily concerned with, as its name suggests, the health of the globe.

However, it’s demonstrated time and again that its primary goal is to carry water for China. In any situation, the WHO immediately adopts China’s narrative on the situation. During the outbreak of the Wuhan Coronavirus, the WHO continued to make the Chinese government’s claims about the virus the info it reported to the world, such as the fact that the virus could not be passed from human to human. It even told people they don’t need to wear medical masks. It’s a report that was not only clearly false, but it also may have cost thousands of lives.

Fox News host Tucker Carlson and his team dove into the WHO rabbit hole to see just how far it goes and, even just skimming the surface, we can see how obedient to China the WHO actually is despite, as Carlson notes, the United States being its largest funder.

To give you an idea of just how much the WHO obeys China, Carlson plays a clip of Hong Kong reporter Yvonne Tong of RTHK attempting to ask WHO Assistant-Director Bruce Aylward about Taiwan’s membership status in the WHO. Taiwan is not allowed to be a member and is not even granted observer status as Carlson explained in his report.

To give you a short background, Taiwan considers itself an independent state, but China considers Taiwan to be a part of their nation under their control. This has been a large point of contention for years and anyone who wishes to do business with China must obey the narrative that Taiwan belongs to China.

When Tong first asks the question of Taiwan’s status in the WHO, Aylward goes silent and then tells Tong that he didn’t hear the question, but encouraged her to move on to the next question very quickly.

Tong did not relent and once again posed the question about Taiwan to Aylward, who seems to make a move toward the computer before the call disconnects. Tong calls him back and asks how Taiwan has done so far during this pandemic.

“Well, we’ve already talked about China. And when you look across all the different areas of China, they’ve actually all done quite a good job.”

“With that, I’d like to thank you very much for inviting us to participate,” he said, ending the interview.

Carlson played an additional clip of Aylward speaking to a crowd and noting that the people of Wuhan deserve thanks for their part in the pandemic, something that Carlson accurately called “truly disgusting.”

At one point, Aylward said that if he “had COVID-19, I’d want to be treated in China.”

“They’ve done this at scale, they know what they’re doing. They’re really, really good at it, and they’re really keen to help,” Aylward said.

There’s mounting solid evidence that China is lying about their numbers, but the WHO doesn’t seem to be interested in investigating China’s claims, or worse, it knows and is keeping the lid on it at China’s orders.

If the WHO is going to obey China and carry its narratives, even at the cost of lives across the globe, then it’s time the United States takes a look at its funding.
