California Sen. Kamala Harris (D) may have just proved that she’s one of the most unrelatable people walking the halls of Washington, and it’s all thanks to CNN…go figure.
In one of the most awkward moments in Harris’s 2020 campaign, CNN hostess Alisyn Camerota asked Harris to detail what her favorite mixtape would look like. What followed was so cringe-worthy that I actually began to physically laugh due to how uncomfortable it was to watch.
From the moment the question was asked of Harris about what kind of music she loved, Harris exhibited visible confusion and looked lost. She finally managed to blurt out “hip hop” and “reggae,” and “jazz.”
“Those are…those are some of my favorites,” said Harris with noticeable nervousness, and her voice trailing off.
But it wasn’t over for Harris yet. Camerota did not seem to pick up on the fact that her softball questions meant to humanize the 2020 Democratic lineup were only exposing Harris’s complete lack of relatability. As such, she pressed for more details by asking what her favorite bands were.
Harris awkwardly noted that Bob Marley was her favorite, but didn’t name another band.
However, the awkwardness was about to go to 11 as Camerota asked Harris to name three songs that would be on her mixtape. Harris found herself completely unable to name three songs, and instead noted that she loved Aretha Franklin, restated that she liked Bob Marley, and finished strong with “I don’t know, I love Cardi B.”
Camerota then made a signature Cardi B noise, because that’s cool, I guess.
I am genuinely shocked at how bad she is at running for president.pic.twitter.com/hr1DMvDy0v

Harris consistently reminds me of Hillary Clinton during her campaign. Journalists tried their hardest to make Clinton seem relatable and fun, but could never quite get overcome the problem that what they had to work with was Hillary Clinton. With every attempt to make her seem cool, they only reinforced the fact that she was an out of touch Washington elite.
Harris is no different. She even trips into the same pitfalls Clinton does. Harris declared war on the wage gap by threatening companies with fines if it was discovered that they pay women less, only to find out on Tuesday that Harris herself is guilty of paying her female staffers less than the men.
Clinton was caught being guilty of this very same thing as I highlighted in a 2015 video.
As far as I can tell, Harris is a Scooby Doo villain who, upon ripping off the mask, would reveal that it was Clinton all along.
