For all the nastiness that has befallen America thanks to the increasing power of radicals within the Democratic party, we can at least be grateful that it spared our children one horrible fate.

According to The Hill, New York Democrat and professional gaffe machine Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that if she hadn’t become a congresswoman, she would have tried to become a teacher:

“I don’t know,” Ocasio-Cortez said on Showtime’s “Desus and Mero” on Thursday when asked if she would have run for Congress if Trump was not president. “I could be just like teaching in high school right now.”

“But you know, times of great challenge can also bring out the best in people, too, and so I think that’s what we’re really seeing, even though things are hitting the fan right now, we’re seeing people activate and educate themselves,” she added.

That’s right, America. Your children could have, like, learned that the world is going to end in 12 years thanks to like, cow farts and cars and stuff. Your kid would have come home talking about high-speed rail across America, and how, like, you need to completely tear down the house and rebuild it so that it can work better with solar panels. Also, how come the family car doesn’t run on vegetable oil yet?

There’s nothing I want more than someone teaching my kid as to why Israel, the only true Democracy in the Middle East, is actually occupied Palestine land. Explanations as to why it is be damned. Just as long as they believe it because someone else heard it.

I would rather suffer a thousand more plans like the Green New Deal from AOC, than have her teach one kid about economics. At least the GND is funny, and so ridiculous that even members of the Democratic party smirk in its direction. Approval of AOC’s plans also gives us a great window into who in the Democratic party has been hiding their absolute lunacy.

When put in this perspective, AOC has really done us a great service. She’s exposed what the Democratic party really is, and stayed the hell away from our kids.
