WATCH: Students Speak Out Against Trump's Immigration Quotes...Till They Find Out They're Actually from Democrats

The “Orange man bad” NPC brigade knows they have to hate the words coming out of certain people, but if they come out of the right people, they’re completely okay.

No one demonstrates this better than the university or college NPC, and Campus Reform continuously shows us just how horrible a university education can be for young students.

Digital Director Cabot Phillips of Campus Reform went down to American University in Washington, D.C. to read immigration quotes to students under the pretense that they were President Donald Trump’s. As you may guess, the students reacted with disapproval and derision.

He started by asking the students what they thought of the concept of a wall, and as you may have guessed, they all reacted negatively. One girl called it an “unrealistic solution” and another student noted that the wall “doesn’t make any sense” since there’s already fencing.

Phillips then proceeded to read quotes from figures such as failed 2016 Democratic candidate for President Hillary Clinton, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), and former President Barack Obama, all of them denouncing illegal immigration.

“We simply cannot allow people to pour into the United States undetected, undocumented and unchecked,” read Phillips quoting Obama.

“Illegal Immigration is wrong, plain and simple. Until the American people are convinced we will stop future flows of illegal immigration, we will make no progress,” added Phillips, quoting Schumer.

Phillips then asked how the students felt about these quotes.

“It’s divisive. I think America is a land of opportunity, a place for inclusion,” responded one student.

“It’s just a negative message. When he talks about illegal immigrants, it’s just … rude to talk about people like that,” said another.

“In a word, I’d say it’s more jingoist,” commented one student.

Of course, once Phillips revealed they were actually quotes from Democrats, the students had a mixture of reactions. Some were stunned into silence, while others stammered out responses of surprise.

One student in particular flat out refused to believe it.

“I don’t know, they just, they wouldn’t say that,” said one student, causing Phillips to reply “Well, they did.”
