Israel is reportedly striking back against a terrorist attack from Gaza that struck at an Israeli bus.

According to the Israel Defense Force (IDF) Twiter page, Israel announced that the attack took place. The IDF reported that sirens were sounding at the southern part of Israel.

The IDF posted footage of rockets originating from Gaza flying overhead, aimed at Israeli civilians.

According to the IDF, Israeli jets have been scrambled and are bombing terrorist targets along the Gaza strip.

According to reports from Israeli National News, the Hamas terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack and is reportedly in response to Sunday’s skirmish between Israel and Hamas where seven terrorists belonging to Hamas were killed, including Nur Barakeh, commander of the eastern battalion of Hamas’ Izz al-Din Al-Qassam Bridges in Khan Yunis.

INN also reports that an IDF Lieutenant Colonel was also killed in the ensuing gunfight.
