The monster that MSNBC host Joy Ann Reid fed isn’t eating her last, much to her surprise. In fact, it’s made her the main course.

As I wrote previously, Reid misjudged her place within the leftist social justice hierarchy and thought she could lie her way out of trouble after being caught having said anti-homosexual things on her personal blog before she became famous. As it turns out, she’s not as high on the totem pole as she thought, and is now being torn apart by the victim culture she helped create.

The social justice community and progressive left proceeded to rip Reid to shreds as she attempted to lie to them, saying that a hacker had planted such horrible things on her blog, not her. Needless to say, no one is buying it.

As a result, Justin Baragona of Contemptor has noticed audiences are abandoning her at alarming rates according to Fox News:

“Looking at this three-week snapshot, we definitely see an erosion in viewers on Saturday post-controversy. Her show saw its demo audience drop from 263,000 to 171,000 in the 10 a.m. hour and 245,000 to 150,000 during the 11 a.m. time slot. The total audience fell from 1.28 million to 957,000 at 10 a.m. and 1.24 million to 965,000 at 11 a.m.,” Baragona wrote.

It’s not surprising that Reid is suffering as she is. If there’s one thing the left loves doing more than finding things to be insulted about, it’s eating their own. The reason for this is because the social justice left is currently an “Oppression Olympics,” where the biggest winner is the biggest victim. Taking Reid down means more status for those who were victims of her remarks. In this case, it’s members of the LGBT communities.
