Friday morning, President Donald Trump tweeted out that he is considering vetoing the Omnibus spending bill passed on Thursday due to lack of attention to DACA recipients and lack of funding and no mention of the border wall.
“I am considering a VETO of the Omnibus Spending Bill based on the fact that the 800,000 plus DACA recipients have been totally abandoned by the Democrats (not even mentioned in Bill) and the BORDER WALL, which is desperately needed for our National Defense, is not fully funded,” tweeted Trump.

While Trump slams the Democrats for “abandoning” DACA recipients that the left had shut down the government for in February, he’s likely more upset over the fact that Republicans had only managed to secure him $641 million in funding for the border wall. This would only grant 33 miles of new border security. Less than half of what the President has asked for.
This news might come as welcome to many Republicans who hated the Omnibus spending bill, including Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky) who said he would vote no on a 2000-plus page bill he was only given hours to read. He had spent the day trying to read through the bill, and posting what he found to the public.
Paul finished with attempting to find a silver lining in the public’s knowledge of what the bill contains.
Victory for conservatives today is that all of America now knows what a budget busting bomb this bill is. Hopefully, today’s battle will embolden conservatives to descend on Congress and demand Constitutional government.

It would seem that Trump, as well as the American people, are not too happy about what was discovered in it.
