Obama Takes Cheap Shot at Trump, Says America Has a "Temporary Absence" of Leadership

Former President Barack Obama seems to have a hard time understanding when it’s time to gracefully bow out. While not knowing when to quit can be a virtue, in Obama’s case it looks more like a man who can’t give up the spotlight doing his best to ride an anti-Trump wave as he recently proved in France.

According to ABC News, Obama was speaking to a group of business leaders in Paris about climate change, when the former President decided to get in a cheap shot at the current President over his avoidance in involving America is the Paris Climate Accords.

“I grant you that at the moment we have a temporary absence of American leadership on the issue,” said Obama to a reportedly laughing crowd.

Obama added that “you’re seeing American companies and states and cities continuing to work on the issue” of privately keeping with Paris climate agreements.

Obama seems to not have the same compunction for grace that his predecessor, George W. Bush, had when he left office. Even while Obama was busy blaming everything under the sun on Bush’s presidency, Bush kept his mouth shut and refused to re-involve himself in state affairs. However, Obama seems to be styling himself as the United State’s ghost president.

Obama has been flying to locations behind Trump, giving off the visual that he is somehow cleaning up after Trump makes a mess of things. However, it should be noted that Obama is currently trying to get the Obama foundation off the ground, and these visuals do a lot to garner support.
