There was more tumult seen inside CBS News, as the Bari Weiss era continues to generate controversy, contempt - and turnover. Veteran newsman Scott MacFarlane recently announced he was leaving the network, with some hinting he could no longer tolerate the changes.
That MacFarlane ran to a hyper-leftist outlet is more than amusing. Less amusing was the announcement that CBS was closing down its entire radio division. More than a century of broadcast history exists with that entity, but Weiss has said that radio is not generating any revenue whatsoever for the company.
Also looking at changes is CNN, which is beginning to look desperate. In an announced experiment, the network was having some of the on-air hosts co-opting podcast aesthetics. Anderson Cooper went with podcast-quality desk microphones, and Jake Tapper shot an entire episode from inside his office.
We also look at how the Washington Post might be framing polling returns based on how it presents questions, with some unintentionally revealing results, and then we have a contender already for the headline of the year.
Now, crack one open and savor some outmoded media malpractice and misinformation.

The Washington Post used different language in questions on support for the Iran conflict, and the numbers reveal how you can shape a poll to get desired results.
And we are sorry, but we might be ready to already hand out the year-end honors for Headline Of The Year.
