For days now we have been getting a flood of news coverage about the disastrous meeting in the Oval Office – and little of it has been accurate. Relying on a brief video clip of a nearly one-hour meeting the press is selling this as a hit job on Zelensky by President Trump and J.D. Vance.
Not being reported with the same energy is how Friday marked the third time Zelensky avoided signing the mineral rights accord with the U.S. and yet Trump is said to be responsible. Also, the desire to bring an end to the violence is somehow an appeasement directed by Putin. So the end result is that Ukraine gets no assistance and the violence continues.
Also looked into is the reactions to the speech before the joint session of Congress. The imbalanced coverage tries in vain to make President Trump appear antagonistic, all while ignoring the unhinged behavior on display by the Democrats.
