Your source to mainline mainstream media misdeeds and malarky.
CBS News just had a horrific month of reporting…on Sunday. In a staggering display, they had multiple embarrassing news reports, any one of which would be shameful. We start with "Face the Nation" host Margaret Brennan, who tried to get the best of Secretary of State Marco Rubio and in the process actually blamed the rise of the Nazi Party on too much freedom of expression.
Later, on “60 Minutes,” the show went to Germany for a positive look at the steps being taken in that country to limit free speech. One group is deciding what can be construed as misinformation, and says even insults can become a legal infraction. They even go so far as to cite what will be deemed illegal and how repeat offenders can end up in jail.
Lastly, we cover a strange case where CNN’s prime-time hostess and White House correspondent was seen promoting the new website for Luigi Mangione, set up for his supporters. After being caught fangirling for the murderer, Collins deleted her post and insisted it was newsworthy; we’ll show how it was set up for Mangione’s supporters, complete with a fundraising link and tips on how to send him fan mail. Bizarre stuff.
Now, crack one open and savor some mainstream media malpractice and misinformation.
