Covering the connection of DC politics and Hollywood entertainment as they contribute to our culture.
There has been a slew of interesting stories involving legal wrangling, so we were thrilled to have the esteemed legal mind of Twitter, @Molratty join our show. Mo helped wade through the tall grass of the IG report released last week, as well as exploring recent Supreme Court decisions on votes, and cakes!. Specifically we looked at how the bakery-gay wedding ruling was not all good news, and that the Ohio voter purge ruling has Democrats upset at the wrong people.
Mo is a great source and EVERYone should follow her on Twitter. Also, check out the varied political commentary from herself and others at MisfitPolitics.com. You have been commanded. Beyond the legal discourse (don’t you fear, there was NO Latin!) we dig into a few other issues that popped up in the news cycle.

- Sarah has strong opinions about “The Incredibles”; Brad was happy, because they were positive

- The Nerdist has a #MeToo moment, but should he?
- Trump gives Kim Jong Un a recruitment video
- Kevin Williamson posits the future of PC enforcement
- Alan Grayson has become a political sequel, with recycled blurbs!
BRAD’S BAD MOVIE OF THE WEEK
In preparation for the major release of “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” Brad looks into extinct titles with far less quality. After viewing the largely unwatchable “Jurassic Shark” (I know, surprising) the next title was “The Jurassic Games”. This is a high concept plot with acting that has to be described as “fossilized”. The concept is 10 condemned criminals are selected for a contest in virtual reality where they compete in a realm with dinosaurs, the winner being granted freedom; the rest perish. This is broadcast for the masses, who hungrily tune in for the tepid action.
Somehow the participants run, jump, and interact with digital dinos on screen, all while strapped down and not moving. Best of all the host of the program is seen on camera for millions, but when he enters their virtual realm he has to wear an asinine raptor helmet….because…I have no idea.
Available to stream on Amazon, or available at RedBox.
MHSS TWITTER MOMENT OF THE WEEK
That moment when an esteemed thespian falls prey to an incorrect meme. Ron Perlman becomes enraged at this image … from a staged protest where parents placed their own kids in cages.
Trump, Sessions, McConnell, Ryan, this is on YOU! pic.twitter.com/VR5m70eWsC
