Monday marked an escalation by pro-Hamas supporters as multiple "protests" were launched to shut down major transportation gateways. The Golden Gate Bridge was one target, with police standing around doing nothing as just a few dozen terrorist simps were allowed to stop traffic for a prolonged period. Similar scenes played out on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York. Multiple airports were also targeted.
As I wrote in my initial write-up on the illegality taking place, none of this stops until officials decide to take action. That means removing people who block traffic with prejudice.

None of this stops until leaders grow a spine and make it stop. We are in a dangerous place where radicals who support terrorism are being emboldened. They are testing the limits of what they can get away with, and thus far, they haven't found the line. These people can justify anything in service to their "cause," and that's going to lead to more violence if the hammer isn't dropped and order restored.
That brings me to the most satisfying development of the day, courtesy of a video posted by Bryan Griffin, who serves as Gov. Ron DeSantis' communications director. In it, a group of pro-Hamas "protesters" learned that Florida isn't New York, and consequences were delivered.
In Florida, we drag these people out of the road and arrest them. pic.twitter.com/XU6ZUUf9xX

And that, my friends, is how it's done. You don't wait around and let these lunatics dictate the terms. The only way to restore order is to immediately and forcefully drag them out of the streets and put them in handcuffs. Somewhere, DeSantis just cracked open a drink of his choice and kicked his feet up to celebrate a job well done.
It can't stop there, though. Not only do these people need to be arrested, but they must be charged to the full extent of the law. That includes jail time and heavy fines. I have no doubt Florida officials will make sure that happens.
By comparison, as of this writing, which is hours after the Golden Gate Bridge was taken over, police in San Francisco have still not arrested those who are illegally blocking traffic and accosting drivers. See if you can spot the difference.

If Californians want this kind of chaos, they are welcome to keep voting for Democrats. Voters in Florida have taken a different path, and it has led to greater prosperity and order in a state that once was blue. With that said, none of that happened by chance. DeSantis deserves credit for facing challenges head-on and being willing to absorb the bad press that comes with being an actual leader.
I'll end with some advice to the Hamas supporters out there: Stick to Brooklyn because Florida doesn't play your games.
