Hamas Leaves the 'Ceasefire Now' Lunatics Looking Like Abject Idiots

For months on end, far-left politicians and activists inside the United States have demanded a "ceasefire now" between Israel and Hamas. Some of those calls began on the day after the deadly massacre committed on October 7th. The deranged talking points were already in the works before the bodies were cold.

As the tale goes, Hamas and Palestinians have no agency, and it's Israel that has committed "genocide" by daring to try to take out a terrorist group that invaded and murdered well over a thousand people while taking hundreds hostage. Of course, lost in the insanity is the fact that Hamas doesn't want a ceasefire, and the "ceasefire now" lunatics were left with egg on their faces again on Tuesday.

Who could have guessed that genocidal terrorists who exist to kill Jews wouldn't want to agree to a ceasefire? The answer is that Rep. Rashida Tlaib and others were too vapid to recognize that. Either that or they are just rabid antisemites. On second thought, it's the latter.

As I've analyzed in other pieces, there can be no ceasefire with an entity like Hamas. There is only its total surrender or Israel's surrender. That's what's so mind-numbing about the "ceasefire now" crowd. If there's not an actual partner for peace on the other side, then you can't have peace. Hamas continues to say it will attack Israel until every last drop of Jewish blood is spilled and the nation no longer exists. You can't have a ceasefire with that, and that's been proven by the fact that there was a ceasefire in place on October 6th.

So what's next? The destruction of Hamas is next. It's becoming fairly obvious they aren't going to release the hostages, and there's dwindling reason to believe some of them are even still alive given the bodies found recently. The terrorists are playing games in a desperate attempt to preserve their power. I know there is still hope that the hostages will be released or rescued, and to whatever extent they can, Israel should keep trying to make that happen. With that said, at some point, they've got to go to scorched earth and finish this. Hamas can't be allowed to survive.
