WATCH: Israeli Soldier Gets Hit by a Grenade, Things Go Very Badly for the Hamas Terrorist Who Threw It

The fighting in Gaza between Israel and Hamas continues to intensify even as the latter suffers heavy losses, and a video that was released on Tuesday shows the sheer chaos of the house-to-house fighting currently going on.

In it, an IDF reservist can be seen trying to breach a doorway before getting into a firefight with two Hamas terrorists. One of them is eliminated while another throws a grenade. What happens next is pretty incredible.

In the clip, you can see the grenade land fairly close to the door that the IDF soldier is holding. He quickly pulls back down the hallway, but the concussion comes through, violently knocking him down. With a cloud of dust engulfing him, he scrambles to back up and retake his position. After firing a few more shots, he breaches the room, makes his way around the next corner, and is met face-to-face with a Hamas fighter. The terrorist gets off one shot from what looks like a pistol, and that's the last thing he ever does as the IDF soldier quickly takes him down.

These are the kinds of combat encounters we've seen recreated in movies a thousand times, but modern technology (and a willingness by militaries to use it and release the footage) is allowing the general public to witness how intense these situations are from a real-world standpoint. It took good training and a fair bit of guts for the IDF soldier to take a grenade blast and then continue clearing anyway.

Israel has come this far, and it looks like they are going to finish the job. As I've stated many times before, there is no scenario where Hamas can be allowed to retain power, whether that be politically or militarily. The "international community" will continue to throw a fit, but they don't have to share a border with Hamas so their objections are rather irrelevant.
