A scary scene unfolded in Minneapolis, MN, on Sunday as a pro-Hamas protest blocked a major road and attacked a man in his car. 

Hamas flags were seen flying in the crowd while drone shots showed cars, presumably owned by the protesters, being used to block traffic as if it were a war-zone. In the immediate aftermath, the claim was that the man was a "counter-protester" who fired a gun.

As is so often the case, the initial claims given by the far-left agitators were false. The man in the car was not a counter-protester, and there was no evidence that a gun was fired (someone in the crowd likely set off a firework). Instead, footage from the ground shows that the man in the car was an elderly, obviously confused old man who was surrounded by the crowd through no provocation of his own. 

To add another layer to the incident, a Democrat politician has been implicated. Zach Metzger, who is running for city council in Minneapolis, was one of those filming the attack. He and others also chased the man down after he escaped the first group of protesters.

Politicians like Metzger are exactly why Minneapolis is a failing, crime-ridden city suffering from net population loss. Voters there should think long and hard about continuing to empower people who are leading to their own destruction.

What's happening in Minnesota and other cities around the country is a joke. These protesters should not be allowed to block roads and terrorize people who just trying to go about their daily lives. Where are the police? More aptly, where are the city officials denouncing this and empowering the police to respond? 

If you want a perfect example of why so many people are leaving these far-left urban areas in favor of red states like Florida, Texas, and Tennessee, this is it. Democrat governance is toxic. Metzger should be disqualified and these illegal protests should be shut down.
