As Redstate reported, in one of the biggest and most impactful stories of the last 50 years, Roe v. Wade has been overturned by the US Supreme Court. The leaked draft decision that pushed conversation and outrage for the last several months was real, and it has now been made official. States now have the right to regulate the brutal practice of abortion as they see fit, a move toward respect for human life and basic morality we haven’t seen in this country since slavery was abolished.
It’s hard to overstate how big of a day this is for those who have fought so diligently to protect the lives of unborn babies. No, this doesn’t provide a federal ban on abortion, but it does ensure that the federal government can no longer dictate to Americans and their state representatives that they must legalize and support such barbarism.
BREAKING — Supreme Court: “The Constitution does not confer a right to abortion; Roe and Casey are overruled; and the authority to regulate abortion is returned to the people and their elected representatives.”https://t.co/kXoHcQTzGt pic.twitter.com/kuflfXdsAr

Of course, while those who hold a pro-life view are celebrating, those who see abortion as a religious rite are seething. The hysterical reactions began to flow almost immediately so grab your popcorn and enjoy the show.
Our Founding Fathers designed government to prevent the tyranny of the majority. They did not contemplate the possibility of tyranny of the minority.

Despite the Supreme Court affirming that abortion is not in the Constitution, CNN is still calling it a "right." pic.twitter.com/8R5uS4bMvD

CNN legal analyst Joan Biskupic says SCOTUS is harming "poor women."
"This is a court made up of three trump appointees. All in their 50s. They will be with us for a long time and setting the law of the land," she warns. pic.twitter.com/skzVj5ueAX

There is so much to grieve today, but at this moment I am mourning for the countless Americans who will be killed by the Supreme Court's decision, the mothers who will be forced into deeper poverty, the miscarriage patients investigated and denied care. https://t.co/f3s7J2neZv pic.twitter.com/zwMS7MUo96

My mother spent many years fighting for women’s right to choose. Tragically, now my daughter will be born without that right. But that fight begins again today and I believe it will succeed.

Perhaps someone smarter than me can figure out how “this will hurt poor women” is somehow a viable argument for killing and dismembering babies in the womb, but that’s the primary reaction we are going to get coming out of this decision. Using one’s currently unborn daughter to promote the idea that she should be allowed to be killed in the womb is also one of the most grotesque things I’ve ever seen on the internet.
Yet, here we are. The reactions only get worse from here, and the real danger begins at nightfall. I hope cities around the country are ready. The left is not going to take this lying down, and they’ve made no secret about that. You can also expect the Biden administration to treat the coming violence with kid gloves. As much as I’m happy this happened and wouldn’t trade the decision for the world, I recognize things are about to get bad — really bad.
