Unbelievable: Joe Biden Just Re-Plagiarized a Line He Stole In 1987, Ignorant Media Fawn

Joe Biden is famous for a plagiarism scandal that brought down his first presidential run. Brought down may be doing a bit of extra lifting there, as it’s a very open question whether he’d have gained traction anyway, but nonetheless, it was a major issue at the time. Biden has copied parts of speeches, including by a British Labor leader, and repeated them on the campaign trail. That led to a blow-up that essentially forced him from the race.

Well, Biden has apparently learned nothing, or he’s learned everything if you assume he knows exactly what he’s doing. I’ll explain what I mean in a second.

Here’s the quote in question.

Well, this is awkward. You’d think highly paid, journalistic stalwarts like the above would do basic research before running out to praise something Biden said, but I guess not. Our media betters are often biased, but are also often just idiots as well.

This entire thing plays right into what I wrote earlier this morning (see CNN Defends Not Fact-Checking Joe Biden, It’s Alternate Reality Material). The media have convinced themselves via their own partisan delusion that Biden is a truth teller. In reality, he’s a man who lies non-stop. He’s been doing so his entire, 40+ year career in politics. Even about something as simple as being the first in his family to go to college, Biden can’t help but abscond from the truth. Instead of calling him out though, the media fawn over his latest fib. It’s quite the sight to behold.

Perhaps that’s the game though. We assume Biden is just too stupid and dementia-ridden to recognize that he’s re-plagiarizing a line he originally stole in 1987, which itself also happens to be a lie when applied to his life as well. But maybe he’s just realized that he can get away with anything, so why bother even caring at this point? That’s certainly how the media treat him, and though his mental capacity is limited, he can probably grasp that much about what’s going on around him. At the very least, his handlers know how to play the system.

It’s always good to be a Democrat, at least in political terms.
