Attorney General Bill Barr is currently testifying before the House Judiciary Committee on a variety of topics. As you can imagine, Democrats are focused on misleading about the federal response to the violence in places like Portland and pretending that the Obama administration didn’t spy on the Trump campaign.

But if Nadler and others thought they were gonna show up and be left unchecked, they were sorely mistaken. While Barr can certainly handle himself pretty well, Jim Jordan decided to come in and drop the equivalent of a nuclear bomb on the proceedings. It was that brutal.

Here are a few clips.

It got worse, though. Jordan also played a video showing the violence going on around the country juxtaposed with “journalists” proclaiming the demonstrations were peaceful. He then showed a clip of David Dorn, among other victims of the recent uprisings by radical leftists.

This triggered Nadler, who was really upset that Jordan didn’t give him a heads up before absolutely wrecking him.

Nadler is simply out of his league. Calling this hearing was a mistake for Democrats. Barr was always going to come in and make them look foolish. But add the combination of Jordan and other GOP members doing their homework as well, and it becomes an absolute disaster for the liberal narrative.

There’s going to be a lot to come out of this hearing before it’s over this afternoon. RedState will keep you updated. Expect more fireworks.
