Get ready for the freak-out.

Donald Trump, in what was an especially spirited presser today, announced he will cease funding from the U.S. to the World Health Organization until reforms are made. This comes in the wake of the WHO showing itself to be an apparatchik of China, doing their bidding and lying for them almost every step of the way throughout this pandemic.

Yes, because China and the WHO are just innocent victims being used to deflect blame. It’s not like they lied to the world and have propagated a disease that will likely end up killing over a million people. Gotta love the media.

The US used to make international organizations like the WHO work better. Now Trump cuts them off in the midst of a pandemic. Just incalculable damage being done to America’s standing in the world.

Their latest line is that Trump praised the WHO in January, long before we knew the extent of their corruption, so that somehow makes Trump a hypocrite. Yes, that’s actually a line of attack many in the media are currently running with.

The WHO should not receive one more dime from the U.S. until they fully reform. That means expelling China from the organization and firing their current Director-General. We can not continue to be a part of something so corrupt and so obviously compromised. American taxpayers deserve better, even if the left doesn’t think so.
