Here’s your daily dose of leftist media hypocrisy and insanity, but even I didn’t think they’d hand us the shot and chasers I’m gonna include in this article.

Rep. Elise Stefanik has begun to earn the scorn of the left since she elevated herself during Schiff’s impeachment hearings. She was the author of several viral clips during that time, expertly taking apart Democrat arguments and gamesmanship.

This means she’s got to be destroyed and the latest gambit is to attack her for posting “altered” pictures of Nancy Pelosi because she used an Instagram filter.

The Washington Post decided to set off a firestorm on the left by putting up this ridiculous article.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) tweeted a petition and fundraising appeal that included what appeared to be an altered photo of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, drawing a retweet Thursday morning from President Trump.

The tweet marks the second time this week that a House Republican has tweeted a photo that appears to have been manipulated…

The tweet shows a close-up, red-tinted photo of Pelosi, with the lines in the House speaker’s face exaggerated due to the image’s unnaturally high contrast.

It’s not that the photo wasn’t altered. Of course it was altered. But on what planet does the Post live where photos of politicians aren’t altered for fundraising banners? How many times have we seen altered photos of Trump to make him look more orange, cracked, or fatter?

In fact, Nancy Pelosi herself has done the exact same thing multiple times.

EVERYBODY PANIC, THERE’S ALTERED PHOTOS ABOUT!!! MOBILIZE THE JOURNALISTS!!!

Oddly enough, I don’t remember the Post putting up a teeth-gnashing article when Pelosi put those tweets up. I wonder why that is? Could it be because they’ve allowed their partisan bias to color their reporting? Just spit-balling here.

Hilariously, you can find even more examples of Pelosi posting altered photos of various Republican figures than the above. See HotAir’s post on the matter for about a half dozen other instances.

And if those shot and chasers weren’t enough, here’s one that’s even more direct.

Stefanik responded in the best way possible, i.e. by thanking the Post and all the left-wing Twitter hand wringing for publicizing her fundraising push.

Honestly, I’m glad the media is this dishonest and biased. We’d be missing out on a lot of very good political entertainment if they weren’t and that’s gotta be worth something. So, instead of asking them to be better, I’m just gonna say that I hope they keep it up.
