Yesterday, a massive shootout occurred in Jersey City, in which a Kosher deli was targeted and at least five people were killed. At first, it seemed this might be some kind of drug or gang violence that ended up targeting Jews by chance, but new information paints a very different picture.

This per the local NBC affiliate (because good luck finding a mainstream outlet giving these details).

Three sources say Anderson was a one-time follower of the Black Hebrew Israelite movement, a group whose members believe they are descendants of the ancient Israelites and may adhere to both Christian and Judaic beliefs. There was a note with religious writings in the U-Haul he and Graham allegedly drove to the scene, but a motive — including any alleged nexus to hate or terror remains under active investigation, officials say.

In reality, it’s almost certain what the motive was and if this were a white supremacist, the media would have no problem connecting those dots. The assailants had written anti-Semitic screeds online and specifically targeted the Kosher deli, according to authorities.

“We now know this did not begin with gunfire between police officers and perpetrators and then move to the store,” Shea, the brother of NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea, said. “It began with an attack on the civilians inside the store.”

It’s clear this was an anti-Semitic terror attack on civilians by racists. They just don’t happen to fit the mold the media likes to report on, so this story has gone mostly dark since the latest revelations came forth.

And while we’d normally have wall to wall coverage and a “national conversation” about the dangers of anti-Semitism, that’s apparently been cancelled because it doesn’t fit the narrative the media want to push.

This has been the media's pattern. If it comes from white supremacists, it deserves coverage and prompts Trump-centric conversation; if it's just a massive spike in anti-Semitic attacks in NYC from non-white supremacists, it doesn't even merit a mention.

These idiots claim that Trump is trying to "redefine" Jewishness as nationality/race in order to "other" people. This demonstrates (1) they know nothing about Jewishness, which has, since the Bible, been connected to ancestry, but not exclusively ancestry;

claiming all the while that the REAL anti-Semite is the guy who just signed an EO defending Jews from discrimination on campuses. Rarely has the willful ignorance (at best, downright malice at worst) of many on the Left regarding anti-Semitism been on fuller display.

And lest anyone think Shapiro is over-reacting here, the left are actually attempting to blame Trump for the shooting.

Yes, I’m sure the racist Black Hebrew Israelites, who have made it known they hate Donald Trump, were motivated by a Trump rally. Scorching hot take there.

The reality is that black on Jewish crime has skyrocketed in places like New York and New Jersey. The problem has been largely buried because it doesn’t match the political narrative our mainstream media desire to play up. In the end, a rolling escalation of violence has been largely ignored until it finally culminated into what we saw yesterday.

The Washington Post has multiple op-eds up right now calling Trump anti-Semitic for attempting to protect Jews on college campuses, but they can’t be bothered to report the truth about what happened in Jersey City. It’s disgusting and it’s an indictment of just how much of a dumpster fire many of these news outlets are.
