They’ve gone too far this time.

The left have decided to go after Olive Garden, whos bread sticks are the crack cocaine of appetizers, by asserting that the Italian eatery is funding Trump’s re-election campaign. Given that I’ve been reliably told by CNN that Trump is probably responsible for more deaths than Hilter, Mao, and Stalin combined, I guess that makes sense.

It all started with a list put out by this guy a few weeks ago.

So here’s a list of companies supporting Trump’s re-election:

– Pizza Hut
– Olive Garden
– Waffle House

– Carl’s Jr.

As of this writing, that tweet has 555,000 likes and 247,000 retweets. Almost every company listed there does not actually support Trump’s campaign (not that there would be anything wrong with that).

The Bernie Bros got in on the action as well, copying the guy’s tweet word for word without credit. Kind of a low move now that I think about it, but Bernie’s supporters never have been much for respecting the work of others.

That list led to another #resistance warrior taking a direct shot yesterday in a now deleted tweet that was retweeted well over 30,000 times.

Olive Garden is funding Trump’s re-election in 2020. It would be terrible if you shared this and Olive Garden lost business.

Ah, how very mafioso of her. It was enough that a #BoycottOliveGarden hashtag started making the rounds on social media over the weekend.

In response, Olive Garden began replying to the left-wing nutters pledging to never eat at their restaurant again.

I get the urge by Olive Garden to clarify matters here and appear non-political, but I’d love just once for a major corporation to tell the woke mob to jump off a bridge. How often do you think your average New York or DC dwelling leftist is eating at suburbia’s Italian staple? The vast majority of these people are too busy eating avocado toast and meat substitutes to go enjoy the delicious salad and pretty good lasagna at their local Olive Garden.

Now, I realize every snobbish upper east side dweller is scoffing right now, but that’s kind of the point. These companies don’t need to cater to people who aren’t even the primary source of their income. You know who eats at Olive Garden the most? Middle of the road working families. How about catering to that demographic for a change?

The sooner companies stop giving these woke mobs influence, the sooner woke mobs will cease to exist.
