O.J. Simpson Isn't Happy About Andrew Luck Retiring

O.J. Simpson appears at an evidentiary hearing in Clark County District Court on Friday, May 17, 2013 in Las Vegas. Simpson, who is currently serving a nine-to-33-year sentence in state prison as a result of his October 2008 conviction for armed robbery and kidnapping charges, is using a writ of habeas corpus to seek a new trial, claiming he had such bad representation that his conviction should be reversed. If you are sports fan, the big news yesterday was the sudden retirement of Indianapolis QB Andrew Luck from the NFL. In a move that was even more shocking than the departure of Barry Sanders decades ago, Luck waited until just weeks before the season to leave the game at an age where he’d normally be in his prime.

While Colts fans will no doubt take it the hardest, there’s another group being hit out there. Namely, those who play fantasy football that drafted Luck as their top QB.

One of those people is O.J. Simpson.

Simpson had apparently drafted Luck just hours prior to the big announcement. I’d call it karma, but come on, the dude murdered two people. Having to pick up an average QB off the waiver wire hardly makes him even.

Seriously though, this will never not feel weird. Simpson is clearly a psychopath who has no remorse for what he did. The perverse racial politics that delivered that abomination of justice will continue resonate long after he’s gone.
