We reported earlier Thursday on the 35-year-old ISIS devotee who was nabbed by the FBI for planning to attack the state capitol in Albany, New York. After officials released more details at a press conference later Thursday, the story got even more insidious. The suspect, who is from the area, turns out to be seriously deranged.
Not only did she tell undercover agents that she wanted to kill state senators, but she also said she was aiming to cause a “complete disruption of our government.” Following the planned slaughter, she planned to escape to Syria — and then come back at a later date to commit an act of terrorism on Times Square.
There isn’t a prison sentence that would be long enough for this (allegedly) poisonous woman:

Craig Tremaroli, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI’s Albany Field Office, details the alleged ISIS-linked plot by Jessica Bowie to attack the New York State Capitol building.
“And after that, she planned to flee the country and one day come back to, ‘do more,’ such as New Year's Eve in Times Square, even stating she would come back to attack the White House and the president, but only after she bombed the state Capitol.”

The details are chilling:
She converted to Islam about five years ago and began going by the name "Aisha Saif." The affidavit also said that on May 28, 2026, Bowie, using the username "nusaybahsaif" on a social media platform, and told another user in Arabic: "Praise be to Allah for September 11th."
The alleged plot unfolded over about a month as Bowie communicated with an FBI source posing as an ISIS facilitator, according to the affidavit. Beginning in mid-July, she told the source she wanted help making explosives and identified the Capitol as her target, saying she hoped to damage the building and kill lawmakers.
Bowie allegedly began scouting the Capitol in Albany soon afterward.
What does she look like? We don’t know, because she's apparently fond of plotting modern-day terrorism while wearing dark-ages garb:

She scouted the Capitol at least five times and planned to pose as a food delivery worker to gain access. On August 5, she went to Home Depot to buy nails and other tools she thought would help her construct the bomb.
She also met with undercover agents to buy what she thought was a handgun, magazine, ammunition, and explosive device. They were inert, and law enforcement swooped in shortly after the purchase. She is considered a flight risk and is currently in custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.
Bowie sounds like a complete psychopath, but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t dangerous. Thankfully, due to the efforts of the FBI, she is no longer a threat. When they lock her up, they should throw the key into the Strait of Hormuz.

Jessica Bowie of Albany, New York, made her initial appearance in federal court on charges of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization, ISIS. Bowie had intended to target the New York State Capitol and New York State senators with an explosive device, then flee to Syria to join others in ISIS-controlled territories. She was apprehended by law enforcement as she gained possession of what she believed to be an explosive device.
