Not much is known about this story yet, but the early details are certainly alarming.
The FBI announced Thursday that they had arrested a 35-year-old woman named Jessica Bowie, who was devoted to the terror group ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and planned to attack the New York State Capitol building in Albany.
The operation, which she’d reportedly been planning since July, was to kill lawmakers:
Bowie had allegedly discussed her plans with FBI informants and spent weeks doing surveillance of the Capitol, including taking pictures from various vantage points including an "observation hall nearby," the criminal complaint said.
She allegedly bought bomb materials from a hardware store on Aug. 5 and plotted with the informants for the next two weeks, according to the complaint.
The informants allegedly met with Bowie on Wednesday and provided her with an inert explosive device and an inert handgun along with instructions on how to detonate the explosive, the complaint said.

This comes after she spent two weeks surveilling the capitol and scheming with informants online.

Fox Digital’s Mike Ruiz reports she explicitly intended to kill state senators:
The FBI says she pledged allegiance to the terror group, discussed disguising a bomb in a DoorDash bag and hoped to strike when state senators were meeting, according to the complaint. She converted to Islam around five years ago and started using the adopted name "Aisha Saif," according to federal prosecutors. She also allegedly messaged a social media contact to say, "Praise be to Allah for September 11th."
Bowie is expected in court Thursday afternoon to be charged with attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist group, and authorities have scheduled a press conference for 3 PM as well.
