To some people, the COVID era is just a mildly unpleasant memory, and they’re “over it.”
I am not one of those people.
The totalitarian pandemic regime that took over much of the country ruined countless lives, cost thousands their careers, and resulted in unimaginable learning loss in our children. In deep-blue places like California, COVID cultists like Gov. Gavin Newsom and LA County Department of Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer took the guidance from the CDC and former Chief Medical Advisor to the President Dr. Anthony Fauci and kept much of the state on lockdown for the better part of two years.
I’m only one of millions who were negatively affected by the guidance, censorship, and misinformation foisted upon us by the “scientific community” and the Biden administration. But my kids suffered tremendously for living like prisoners and experiencing life through Zoom screens, while my wider family was riven by divisions between the blind followers and the questioners, with the repercussions still resonating to this day.
So no, I am not over it.
You might think it mean-spirited, then, that I take a measure of satisfaction in watching the reputation of an 85-year-old man — Tony Fauci — getting destroyed in front of our eyes and his endless mendacity exposed. So be it.
Now Fauci is facing even more legal woes, and I am here for it:

As we reported, the shameless supposed face of “The Science” appeared before a Senate hearing on COVID origins in late July and called on the Fifth Amendment some 111 times and refused to answer any substantive questions. This despite the fact that he was gifted a sweeping pardon by Biden on the former president's last full day in office.
The corruption is off the charts.

As my colleague Teri Christoph reported, Homeland Security Committee Chair Rand Paul (R-KY), a longtime Fauci critic, wasn’t about to take this lying down and dropped a contempt of Congress resolution on the Fouch and set initial hearings on the matter for Thursday. Boom.
Uthmeier said on Fox News Wednesday that he wants to know whether the disgraced doc profited over the whole disaster:
"Evidence has come to light that he was trying to personally profit off of this. This is outside of his government duties, his official role: He's trying to pursue book deals, awards, get connected with high rollers that might help him come into millions and millions of dollars. This is wrong, and it could go towards a deceptive trade practice, fraud, public nuisance, you name it. I think there's many aspects of Florida law that now are implicated."
He said that Fauci’s infamous diaries could implicate him, and that he was particularly concerned over a $1 million award the Face of COVID received and bragged about.
Meanwhile, Fauci’s woes continue: the attorneys general for both Alabama and Louisiana are also investigating whether he committed any crimes.
Fauci earned all of this and more. Forgive me for being pleased that a charlatan is at long last being exposed, but I’ve got a little more spring to my step today.
As Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill said when discussing Uthmeier’s efforts, “The truth will come out."
