More Creepy Info Revealed About LA Arson Suspect — Including His Obsession With Disturbing Leftist Idol

The Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles has still not recovered from the disastrous wildfires that burned it to the ground in January 2025, leaving 12 people dead and almost 7,000 structures obliterated, and both look like warzones as rebuilding goes on at a snail’s pace. The devastation was caused by a variety of environmental and human factors, including high temperatures, powerful winds, poor planning, unbelievable ineptitude (the key reservoir for the area had been left empty?), and more.

Now, federal prosecutors have released new information about the suspected arsonist accused of setting the blaze, 30-year-old Florida man Jonathan Rinderknecht, and it’s disturbing:

In a trial memorandum, federal prosecutors say 30-year-old Jonathan Rinderknecht was distraught over a relationship with a former co-worker and angry about not having any New Year's Eve plans.

Several Uber passengers Rinderknecht drove that night described him as angry, driving erratically and ranting about being mad at the world.

It gets worse: apparently, the creep had an obsession with the Left’s favorite (allegedly) cold-blooded assassin, the Ivy Leaguer accused of shooting a father he’d never met in the back simply because he was the CEO of a healthcare company.

According to the memorandum, prosecutors say Rinderknecht was fixated on Luigi Mangione, the man accused of the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, and obsessed with fire.

Disturbing new details have emerged about the man accused of igniting a fire that authorities say ultimately set off the deadly Palisades firestorm.

Rinderknecht's trial is scheduled to begin on June 8, and prosecutors have said that they are planning on calling as many as 50 witnesses. If convicted, he faces up to 45 years in the slammer. He remains jailed while he waits for the proceedings.

His fixation on an alleged homicidal leftist maniac is telling: the Left’s embrace of violent rhetoric is working, and they’re getting results. We have now seen three assassination attempts on Donald Trump, the murder of Brian Thompson, and the killing of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, for starters. There are so many examples of incitement from Democrats and their partners in the media that it’s hard to say which was the worst, but, for example, the “peace-loving” House Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries (NY-08), said in late April, “We are in an era of maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time.”

These are the type of people such rhetoric and glorification of violence are producing:

The idolization of Mangione is one of the sickest things I have seen in America. Mangione has thus far not supplied the slightest justification for killing a man in cold blood, except that he had a vague hate for healthcare companies. He didn’t even know Brian Thompson and never had any business with UnitedHealthCare.

And yet he's a hero to some.

Now, the Palisades lies in ruins because of leftist ideology. Both Rinderknecht and Mangione remain behind bars as their legal proceedings move forward through the system, but the hate they believed in is still very much out there and is being actively promoted. Thanks, Hakeem Jeffries, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and so many others.

You got what you've been asking for: dead bodies and ruined lives.

Editor’s Note: Democrats are fanning the flames and raising the rhetoric by comparing federal officials to the Gestapo, fascists, and secret police.
