In the Hot Seat: Bill Clinton Says 'I Saw Nothing' As He's Grilled Over Extensive Epstein Ties

As we reported, former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton reluctantly testified to House Oversight Committee members Thursday about her knowledge of the convicted late pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s dirty deeds and her husband’s relationship with the man who supposedly committed suicide in 2019 at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York City.

In a fiery statement before the hearing, held in her hometown of Chappaqua, New York, she claimed she had never met Epstein and had zero knowledge of his criminal exploits.

Yet Epstein’s convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was in attendance at her daughter Chelsea’s wedding in 2010 — two years after Epstein had pled guilty to procuring a minor for prostitution.

Nothing to see here, folks.

Now it’s Bill’s turn. On Friday, he got to face Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (KY-01) and the gang, and he basically said, “I’m shocked — shocked! — to find that gambling is going on in here!”

Former President Bill Clinton told members of Congress on Friday that he "did nothing wrong" in his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and saw no signs of his abuse, yet he faced hours of grilling from lawmakers over his connections to the disgraced financier from more than two decades ago.

"I saw nothing, and I did nothing wrong," Clinton said in an opening statement he shared on social media at the outside of the deposition.

The closed-door deposition in Chappaqua, New York, marks the first time a former president has been compelled to testify to Congress. It came a day after Clinton's wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, sat with lawmakers for her own deposition.

Naturally, he played the victim, despite the fact that his presidency was tainted by the scandal of his affair with a much-younger woman, Monica Lewinsky:

Left unexplained are his numerous sightings in Epstein’s private jet, known as the Lolita Express, and testimony from Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre that he did indeed visit the infamous financier’s private island.

As I’ve opined frequently to the illustrious host of RedState Radio, Deputy Managing Editor Susie Moore, Bill used to be magnetic, but somewhere along the way, he lost his shine. He was once captivating, but now he feels out of touch, and his wife comes off as cantankerous and bitter.

The Democrats desperately wanted this whole Epstein caper to bring down President Donald Trump, but mostly what they’ve accomplished is to destroy business titans, European elites, and their own left-wing sycophants.

The Clintons’ legacy continues to decline.
