We’ve seen some truly idiotic displays from the always-triggered class — often led by AWFLs — who are mentally injured by perceived racism and aggression they find in almost everything. Recently, it’s been leftie outrage that actress Sydney Sweeney looks good in a pair of jeans — and she has the temerity to be white at the same time.
Also, she has “genes.” Never mind the fact that everyone else does, too; in the minds of the Left, it’s clearly a racist ad campaign designed to minimize people of color.
This latest one is even stupider. Pantone, the paint company, recently announced their color of the year, and while it’s not exactly inspiring to my mind, it’s hardly insulting at first glance. It’s called Cloud Dancer, officially PANTONE 11-4201, and it’s basically… a shade of white.

And suddenly the same folks who told us “representation doesn’t matter” are having a collective nervous breakdown over… a shade of white paint.
You can’t make this stuff up.

You wouldn’t expect the wokesters over at the New York Times to let this massive controversy go by without them getting a word in, and they didn’t disappoint. Members of their Style team were quick to weigh in with their faux outrage:
VANESSA FRIEDMAN The announcement heralding Cloud Dancer as next year’s color features a woman, all in white, looking dreamily into a cloud-filled sky. Serenity is clearly the vibe. But given the recent political discourse, when I hear “white,” less salubrious associations also leap to my mind — ones that I doubt Pantone took into consideration but that could be twisted to pretty uncomfortable ends.
CALLIE HOLTERMANN It’s certainly a conspicuous choice following a year in which D.E.I. programs have been dismantled and the party in power has been debating how friendly to be with a white nationalist. That may not be what Pantone means by “peace, unity and cohesiveness,” but I have to imagine it will come up for some viewers….

Oh please. Loaded with what? It’s just a freaking color (or non-color, if you prefer). To be fair, not all their comments were of the race-hustling variety; some just said it was a boring choice.
One can’t help but ask, however: why do people like these hate themselves so much?

The Left will continue to try to push racist conspiracies like this on us whenever possible. It might be fun to mock these low-IQ complainers, but the effect over time is more sinister; it’s exactly this kind of grievance obsession that brought us DEI, critical race theory, and “woke,” which have all been toxic for America. Laugh at them, because they deserve nothing more.
