Disney’s live-action reboot of the classic “Snow White” bombed at the box office for many reasons, not the least of which was that its “star,” Rachel Zegler, turned out to be a toxic wokester who cared more about sounding off on her left-wing politics than she did about making a quality film.
But now the other star in the movie, Gal Gadot, who played the Evil Queen, is revealing the coercion she felt from the Hollywood elite to criticize her home country, Israel.
There was a “lot of pressure,” the former IDF soldier revealed:
Actress Gal Gadot said the live-action Snow White remake floundered at the box office due to pressure in Hollywood to criticize Israel, during a recent interview on Israel’s Channel Keshet 12 program "The A Talks."
"I was sure that this movie was going to be a huge success, and then October 7 happened — and what's happening in all kinds of industries, and also in Hollywood — is that there's a lot of pressure on celebrities to speak out against Israel," Gadot said.

Zegler, who was in her own mind a “star” and thought everyone needed to know her opinions, poisoned the atmosphere around the film before it even premiered:
"Snow White" grossed $205 million worldwide, falling short of its reported $270 million budget. Gadot played the Evil Queen, while Rachel Zegler starred as Snow White. The film was mired in controversy, largely stemming from Zegler’s inflammatory social media posts.
In November 2024, after President Donald Trump was re-elected, Zegler posted, "May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace," and "F--- Donald Trump." She previously wrote "And always remember, free Palestine" beneath a trailer for "Snow White" in August 2024.
Gadot had different opinions:
"You can always explain and try to give people in the world a context about what's happening and what the reality is here, but in the end, people decide for themselves. I was disappointed that the movie was greatly affected by that and didn't do well at the box office," Gadot said.
Gal Gadot said out loud what every Jew in Hollywood already knows: if you support Israel, they’ll come for you.

She was judged not as an actress, but as an Israeli, because in today’s entertainment industry, being Jewish and pro-Israel makes you a target.
From harassment to… pic.twitter.com/SBVA8tBAQd
From harassment to boycotts, the message is clear: stay silent or pay the price.
Gal had to “clarify” her words, but the truth is still there. Jewish voices are being silenced, and the industry is rewarding it.
From the antisemitism we saw on our nation’s campuses after the atrocities of the Oct 7, 2023, Hamas attack to the refusal of New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada,” we’ve seen a sickening cycle of acceptance for hate and intolerance. “Snow White” was doomed from its start—deservedly so. If only Disney—and Hollywood—would learn from their failure.
So many Hollywood "stars" seem to have gone off the deep end and devoted themselves to far-left causes that regular Americans have no interest in.
