As we told you earlier Saturday, an abortion fan was arguing with a pro-life advocate who was reporting for advocacy group Live Action when the woman suddenly launched a barrage of surprise punches—right to the face—stunning the 23-year-old journalist and leaving her bloodied.
The victim, Savannah Craven Antao, said she’s been getting flashbacks from the attack, which she deemed emblematic of the entire pro-choice movement.
Warning: Violent imagery.
This would be a hate crime and the assailant Brianna J. Rivers should be charged with one. pic.twitter.com/1dUca5tlRI

Now the attacker has identified herself on social media as Bronx resident Brianna Rivers, and she gave an “apology” that made it sound like she wasn’t sorry in the slightest. She even seemed to victim-shame the target of her unhinged rage and strongly implied that she had it coming. This is the progressive worldview, folks:
“To Savannah, I sincerely apologize but cannot sit around and allow you to continue pushing this one sided narrative. I understand hands being put on someone is never the answer, but throwing rocks and hiding hands is worse,” Rivers wrote in a Facebook post.
“She knows the truth and she needs to release the footage in its entirety. Savannah is a professional antagonist not a ‘reporter’ and the truth will be told.”
"She railroaded me into all this." That's pathetic. No she didn't, Brianna; you went psycho by your own choice, and you own your actions.
Almost as soon as she says, “I sincerely apologize,” she turns around and shows she’s not actually contrite at all and implies strongly that the reporter had it coming and deserved it. When folks say things you don't like, you walk away—a decent human doesn't just suddenly sucker punch someone who isn't even a position to defend herself. That’s called assault, and I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who hopes you are held accountable for your disturbing actions.
Her excuses are as lame as Jasmine Crockett’s when the Texas Democrat rep. tried to play clean-up after mocking Gov. Greg Abbott’s partial paralysis by calling him “Gov. Hot Wheels.” Abbott was hit by a falling tree in his 20s and has worked relentlessly to lead a meaningful life despite being confined to a wheelchair, so her mockery was particularly vicious.
Crockett’s pathetic response to the outcry? As RedState’s Mike Miller reported, she made an outrageous claim that she wasn’t talking about Abbott's wheelchair:
You see, she wasn't talking about him being a paraplegic. She was talking about "planes, trains, and automobiles."
I know, I know, but just roll with it.

That’s some weak sauce coming from these two. Although Crockett didn’t hit anyone, she said recently that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) “has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right?” That's about as clear a call to political violence as you can get.
Rivers did hit someone, though, and that is not OK. I don’t care that she thought the reporter was being rude; that’s within her First Amendment rights. Walk away, lady, walk away.
Will New York officials let her go, like they seemingly do to most criminals? They might, because as we know, there’s a two-tiered system in this country that’s been allowed to fester.
If that had been a MAGA fan who cheap-shotted a reporter just for asking questions, you know they’d be behind bars very quickly and likely ordered to stay there for a lengthy sentence.
This unhinged woman should be in jail tonight.
Progressive zealots are increasingly resorting to violence and terrorism because they failed at the ballot box.
