FBI agents on Thursday raided the Brooklyn, New York home of New York City Mayor Eric Adams’ fundraising chief, Brianna Suggs, as they investigate whether Adams' 2021 election campaign conspired with the Turkish government to receive illegal foreign donations.
The mayor, who was on his way to Washington, D.C., at the time to speak with White House officials and members of Congress about the disastrous border crisis, immediately turned around and headed back to the Big Apple.

Adams spoke with a news outlet Thursday, and although he didn’t discuss the specifics of the case, he said he was “extremely comfortable” with his campaign’s conduct:
I feel extremely comfortable about how I comply with rules and procedures.
I hold myself to a high standard, and I hold my campaign to a high standard, and I hold my staff at City Hall to a high standard.
I'm very clear that it is my responsibility to hold myself to a high standard and I will comply with any inquiry that is made and I am demanding that my team do the same.
I can only speak for myself, but I know I wouldn’t be feeling extremely comfortable if the feds raided the house of one of my close associates. The investigation reportedly involves serious allegations:
The investigation burst into public view on Thursday when federal agents conducted an early-morning raid at the Brooklyn home of the mayor’s chief fund-raiser, Brianna Suggs. Ms. Suggs is a campaign consultant who is deeply entwined with efforts to advance the mayor’s agenda.
Investigators also sought to learn more about the potential involvement of a Brooklyn construction company with ties to Turkey, as well as a small university in Washington, D.C., that also has ties to the country and to Mr. Adams.
According to the search warrant, investigators were also focused on whether the mayor’s campaign kicked back benefits to the construction company’s officials and employees, and to Turkish officials.
Adams' day did not go as planned:

From the above tweet:
Adams was just minutes away from meeting with White House officials in D.C. when his top fundraiser had her home raided by the FBI.
Adams abruptly cancelled his meeting and flew back to New York City...
Agents seized multiple iPhones and two laptops as well as “manila folder labeled Eric Adams” and seven “contribution card binders.” It is unclear if Adams is personally targeted in this investigation. Adams posted this video on social media right before he was set to meet at the White House.
What did Adams do to anger the Biden Regime?
This story, while already eye-opening, has the potential to become a serious problem for the Mayor. RedState will keep you updated with any developments.
