New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been making big noises about the illegal immigrant problem in his city and he hasn't been shy about saying that Joe Biden needs to do something about it. 

Joe Biden has been in NYC to speak before the UN General Assembly on Tuesday and participate in other meetings. 

So you might think that if he cared about the opinion of the NYC Mayor and the city, he would have arranged to have a meeting or at least some brief discussion with Adams. This was what Adams was saying earlier this month about just how bad the Biden border crisis has been for the city.

But Biden was too busy hanging with his globalist buddies at the UN. As we reported, he was slurring his way through his General Assembly speech and fighting with his teleprompter. He's also attending campaign receptions. So he can't be bothered to meet with Adams. Adams is a bit like East Palestine, Ohio, to Biden. The place Biden says he'll go, but he never does. 

Meanwhile, Adams was not happy, and he let Biden have it.  

Adams — making it clear Tuesday that “everybody knows where I am” — sniffed to reporters about Biden’s visit, “I am hoping that he understands this beautiful city that’s the economic engine of the entire country is been saddled with a $2 billion that we spent already, $5 billion we’re going to spend in this fiscal crisis, $12 billion in the next two budgetary cycles. 

“New York doesn’t deserve this, the asylum seekers don’t deserve this,” Adams said.

A City Hall source said it was a "terrible look" for Biden. 

Biden had promised a federal liaison to deal with the problem, but he never provided it. The source joked, “The city is billions of dollars in debt — but at least we got a White House ‘liaison,’” meaning Biden showing up and doing nothing. Adams said that Biden hadn't spoken with him since earlier this year. 

More than 100,000 illegal aliens have flooded the city since last April, and of course, that's nothing compared to how many have flooded into Texas, for example, over that period. But Democrats didn't understand that until places like New York started being overwhelmed. 

But while folks like Adams are now yelling about it, you can see that Biden doesn't even care enough to talk to him or address the issue. He's more concerned about Ukraine's border than our own border. Biden doesn't even care about Democratic cities. He doesn't care how this may hurt all the Democratic voters. 

Republicans should drive home the example of how he's treating NYC, recognizing he's treated all the border towns much worse. Pull out that old article about Gerald Ford saying "Drop dead" to NYC in the 1970s, and apply that same thought to Biden here. But unlike Ford, Biden is truly saying it. Make it clear this is what Biden is saying to all Americans through his actions. All Americans are last in Biden's agenda for America.
