Softball Hall of Famer on the Future of Men in Women's Sports - 'Girls Are Going to Get Wiped Out'

As the ridiculous battle over biological men playing in women's sports inexplicably rages on, the most inexplicable thing that has come from it is actual women who either really cannot see the implications, both physical and otherwise, or are too afraid to admit to the alphabet mafia that they really do and won't speak up.

But while we are addressing all the obvious absurdity of it, one more female athlete predicts horrific outcomes if this doesn't end.

Leigh Ross-Dakich is a Hall of Fame softball player who won over 500 games as a coach at Bowling Green and Syracuse and recently appeared on her husband Dan Dakich's Outkick podcast, "Don't @ Me." Like many other female athletes, she is sounding the alarm about where the state of women's sports is headed if more biological men are allowed to play in women's sports. Her prediction consisted of just one sentence: "Let's go. One league. Let's see what happens. What's going to happen is that girls are going to get wiped out."

Women's sports have reached a point where some women are phasing themselves out in the name of inclusion. The irony is hard to miss.

Ross-Dakich pointed out some important points. She stated,

"The players that are here now, I don't know if they understand what women had to go through years ago in the '70s and '80s to get to a point where they actually could play and have their own leagues. I don't think they understand that."

But Ross-Dakich also brought up an exclusive group of women who are not current athletes or coaches, and are completely fine with men in women's sports. These are female athletes who are retired from their respective sports and don't have to worry about competing against biological males who are bigger and stronger, or worse, being hurt by those males on opposing teams.

Ross-Dakich added that she, along with tennis great Martina Navratilova, does not understand why Billie Jean King, who has advocated against men in women's sports, reversed her view and came to favor men in women's sports.

The woke mob is concerned about men being excluded from women's sports.

Leigh Ross-Dakich brought up the female athletes who were trailblazers, but are now fighting against women, saying,

"If you want to do that and make one league, women will be phased out. These women that are fighting for women – women power – are now phasing themselves out of jobs," she added. "You're not saying that trans kids can't play. Whatever is on your birth certificate is where you should be playing. It's common sense."

She went on to say that if the pioneers of women's sports do not begin speaking up, the results could be disastrous. But what about female athletes like King, Megan Rapinoe, Simone Biles and others who support men in women's sports? Conveniently, all of these women are retired and don't have to worry about competing against a six-foot-five, 250-pound man. For these women, scoring points with transgender bullies has become more important than defending women's and girls' sports.

Women like King may have opened the door for female athletes, but it's women like Leigh Ross-Dakich who are doing their best to see that women's sports remain just that.
