Here We Go Again! More Illegal Immigrant Truckers Busted by Border Patrol

The list of dangerous and deadly policies for which the Biden administration has blood on its hands seems like it is never-ending. From allowing millions of illegal immigrants across the southern border, many of whom are murderers, rapists, and child predators, to facilitating what they did once they came into the country illegally is nothing short of criminal. Since last year, the Trump administration has been cracking down on one of the most horrific results of Joe Biden's open borders policy.

Yet again, over five days in mid-May in Arizona, Yuma Sector Border Patrol Agents arrested 52 illegal immigrants during immigration stops on Arizona interstate highways. Of those 52 who were arrested, 36 were driving commercial vehicles with commercial driver's licenses (CDL) issued by, you guessed it, California, New York, Washington, and Virginia. Three of the drivers had no driver's licenses. A U.S. Department of Transportation official praised the efforts of the Border Patrol, stating, “This is another reminder of how the Biden-Buttigieg administration failed American truckers and made our roads less safe for families.”

The illegal truck drivers were from the usual places: El Salvador, India, Mexico, Turkey, and Russia. Many were working in the U.S. under expired work authorizations that were issued during the Biden administration and are no longer valid. The transportation spokesman went on to say that:

“USDOT is proud to support Border Patrol operations to take these dangerous foreign drivers off of our roads. We need our state and local law enforcement partners to work with DHS and neutralize this threat before more innocent people die.”

These 36 illegal immigrant truckers weren't the only ones thankfully taken off the roads. Yuma Sector Border agents also arrested one other individual, an Indian national, Magandeep Singh. Singh had been pulled over during a traffic stop and immigration inspection. Agents discovered that Singh was an illegal immigrant from India and had an international alert, wanted for homicide. He was arrested, turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers, and processed for deportation.

Arizona is not alone. Also in May, South Carolina law enforcement, along with ICE, paired up to crack down on illegal CDLs and immigration violations. That operation got 22 illegal drivers and vehicles off the road. Since last year's Florida Turnpike crash, the Department of Transportation has begun putting strict requirements in place regarding foreign truck drivers. Drivers are also now required to take commercial driving tests in English.

Department of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said in May that since June of 2025, 20,000 illegal immigrant truck drivers have been taken off the roads. But thanks to the feckless Biden administration, how many more are still out there?
